Happy sunday friends, it is a new week and i wish you all a blissful week ahead. I wanted to teach or talk about the word "dimanche" which means sunday because of coincidence but instead i want us to talk about love. That is more important and is the main essence of the DAY. Love does not need to be shown on specific days alone, but everytime so that brings us to this very amazing word "AIMER"
AIMER as it sounds is a verb so its very useful for our spoken french and helps us identify or understand meaning better when we seee it in a phrase.
Basically Aimer means to love or to like, when you like something very much that is the perfect or suitable word to use but remember you cant just fix in the word in a sentence without conjugating it properlly to suit the tone, tense and point of view or perspective.
It is one of the most expressive words in French because it can describe both strong and simple emotions depending on how it is used.
Pronunciation is like eih-may. Aimer ei mayyy
so back to the conjugation....
J’aime = I love / I like
Tu aimes = You love
Nous aimons = We love
Example:
J’aime la musique = I like music
Nous aimons apprendre = We love learning
