Hello everyone! How are we doing today? It’s hump day again and I wish you all the best🥳.
This is for my fellow #education lovers, #teachers like my self and my lovely #students.
We have all been doing a great job building the #hive community by making insightful posts and having our amazing students follow up and also leaving nice, heartfelt comments that keeps the teachers encouraged and that is called CONSISTENCY, that is a great habit that we should never stop inculcating.
While waiting for the weekend so we can rest I want is to quickly enjoy mercredi to the fullest so I want you all to put into consideration a very important lesson in 5 minutes.
That brings us to the topic of Today.
Today’s word is TOUJOURS and Toujours means always, now you see what I meant by relating the today’s lesson with consistency right?
When we say toujours it’s not just for fun but it is used to talk about something that happens all the time or something that continues without stopping thats why I applauded us all and the #hive-engine ecosystem for being continuous or running toujours with or without me. It’s very easy to read and put in sentences and the pronunciation is like too-zhoor. Too zhur! It’s pronounced sharply.
Study these few examples below 👇
Je suis toujours là — I am always here
(là) means there
Suis means am
Je means I
So read the ⬆️ together again
Elle parle toujours — She always talks
Elle means HER
parle means TALK
Dieu est bon toujours — God is good always.
It’s a simple word but very expressive.
When you use toujours, it adds a sense of consistency to what you are saying like when we all know that God is good toujours or #hive runs toujours.
And when you think about it, “always” is a strong word even in life.
I love God always and it keeps me going. Toujours shows repetition, habit and sometimes even commitment.
Thank you all for reading and learning with me.
I love you 🫶🏻 toujours.
