Most mathematics teachers shy away from solving complex problems in mathematics for pupils.This however calls for the Utilization of Computer Software or Programs in the Teaching of Mathematics in primary schools.
The Utilization of Computer in mathematics is a step geared towards helping Pupils in solving mathematical problems and handling these problems at ease.Computer is all about calculating or computing and these chores can be done effortlessly by computer. The introduction of Computer Programs such as: computer calculators, key handling programs and automated calculators has gone a long way in stimulating, motivating and encouraging the pupils in learning mathematics and solving mathematical problems.
Mathematics teachers who used computers and calculators in teaching mathematics in the classroom impact basic mathematical skills into the pupils which will assist them to solve simple fractions, algebraic problems, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division at ease without much stress on their part.Also,these children will increase their intellectual capacity and boast their confidence in solving their mathematical problems in the classroom,at home, church, during quiz competition or rallies and in the society at large.
