This is not yet the end but for sure, it’s not the beginning. Don’t question if there is a better future waiting because what’s important is to understand the value of education. There are doubts or maybe sometimes unfairness of life's indifferences. The rich can have the life they wanted immediately while the poor take too much struggle before the life desire is achieved. Remember, the situation today will not be the same for the future tomorrow as long as there is determination and will to have a better life.
Stop arguing which is better to have, “Education or Strategy” because both of these are necessary. Don’t be fooled on social media and be consumed by false information. From the beginning, without education no one knows how to read and write, and even adding, subtracting or dividing numbers. Yes, farmers from the old times had knowledge about growing plants but not enough knowledge not to be fooled by how much harvest they had when selling.
We are now in the modern age, just learn this about fishing a squid in the sea. I witnessed, no, I experienced how squid being fooled and being caught because of a lamp gas lighted from a kerosene. While todays’, squid is not being caught with that kind of fishing anymore because the fishermen these days using colorful light that placed in the deep on the sea. See how life changes as the time changes.
So yeah, education is needed, not just needed but necessary not to be left behind. Life is hard for sure but life will be harder when nothing’s to be done about it. There are even times of sadness and loneliness when aiming for the goal. A phrase that I can’t forget, “No success without sacrifice.” Just remember that every chapter finishes, there’s always a new one to come. It will only end when life’s ended.
Congratulations graduates, be courageous and be brave in facing difficulties ahead. Those are not definitely walls that cannot be climbed or broken, those are challenges in life to teach how to be tougher, wiser and stronger. Be thankful for what you’ve achieved for now and be prepared for other dreams to make it come true. I'm sure your parents are being proud and maybe the happiest.
