People alwsys enjoy the comfort of their home. From waking up in morning to living as we want. Home alwsys used to be a happy place. But the moment we goes to a new place or an unknown places we feel discomfort and isolated. Adapting to the new environment is always challenging. Moving often involves leaving behind established friendships, family support systems, and social groups. This loss can create a void and make it harder to find immediate social connections in the new environment. The situation is well explained in following Sanskrit lines :
अलिरयं नलिनीदलमध्यगः कमलिनीमकरन्दमदालसः|
विधिवशात्परदेशमुपागतः कुजटपुष्परसं बहुमन्यते||
Alirayam nalineedala-madhyago.
Kamalinee-makarand-madaalasah.
Vidhivashaatparadeshamupaagatah.
Kujata-pushpa-raasam bahu-manyate.
Alirayam = fast moving bees.
Nalineedal = among lotus leaves.
Madhyago = in the middle of.
Kamalanee = lotus flowers.
Makaranda rasa = honey of flowers.
Madaalasah = lazy from drunkenness.
Vidhivashaat = by the quirk of fate. Paradeshamupaagatah = paradsham +
upaagatah.
Paradesham = in a foreign hostile ccountry.
Upaagata = entered into.
Kujata = name of a plant having
inferior flower in comparison to a Lotus flower.
Pushpa = flower.
Rasam = honey.
Bahu = plentiful, abundant.
Manyate = Think.
i.e. A swarm of honey bees who were accustomed of moving among the leaves and flowers of lotus and lived lazily drinking the honey produced by Lotus flowers, by a quirk of fate went to a hostile country where lotus flowers were not available. There they had to subsist on the inferior flowers of 'Kujata', thinking them as plentiful.
The idea behind this is that if a prosperous person by a quirk of fate has to live in a hostile country, where he can not maintain his lifestyle. He has to remain satisfied on whatever he gets. This has been done by the use of a simile about bees. It is important to acknowledge these feelings as a natural part of the transition process and to actively seek out ways to connect with others and build a new social network.
