The history of the World is full of example of warriors who conquered many countries and ruled over them. We have many example, like of Alexander the Great, to Hitler. They single handedly manage to conquer a vasy area of the world. Highlighting this our Sanskrit has following verses :
एकेनापि हि शूरेण पदाSSक्रान्तं महीतलम् |
क्रियते भास्करस्येव स्फारस्फुरिततेजसा||
ekenaapi hi shooren padaSSkrantam mahitalam, kriyate bhaskarasyev spharasphuritatejasa
Ekenaapi = ekan + api.
Eken = by one.
Api = even.
Hi = surely.
Shoorena = by a brave man.
Padaakraantm = trampled by the feet,
Maheetalam = the Earth.
Kriyate = does.
Bhaaskarasyeva = bhaskarasya + iva.
Bhaskarasya = the Sun's
Iva = like.
Sphaarasphuritatejasaa = sphaarh + sphurita + tejasaa.
Sphaarh = powerful, abundant.
Sphurita = flashing.
Tejasaa = powerful (rays of the Sun )
i.e. Even a single brave man can trample this Earth (have full control over all its territories) just like the Sun, which brightens the Earth by its flashing and powerful rays.
A brave man is characterized by his courage to face challenges, stand up for what is right, and overcome personal fears, rather than the absence of fear itself. Bravery manifests in various ways, including daring feats of heroism, standing up for one's beliefs, and persevering through difficult times. It also involves embracing vulnerability, admitting fears, and taking action despite them.
This verses refers them indirectly by using the simile of the Sun.
