Hello friends, how are you all? I hope you're all doing well. The topic of this discussion is how to encourage and motivate children to think creatively.
As you know, every child has some creativity, but understanding that creativity and figuring out how to bring it out—that's a job only a good teacher can do, someone who knows what level of mind a child is at.
Friends, the biggest problem in our education these days is that we're only focusing kids on getting marks and passing—nothing else. But the truth is that if we bring them to the creative side and get them working there, they'll be enthusiastic about it. which can prove to be game-changers.
Now the question arises: how do we bring this into children? Friends, you know that to make young minds creative, you first have to give them freedom. When kids are stopped at every turn and scolded for every mistake, they become afraid to try new ideas—fearing that if they try,it could prove to be a game-changer. But then who will reward us for it? On the contrary, they feel we're being disrespectful to them. …and even if we do try, what reward will we get? On the contrary, they make us feel humiliated.
If we start asking children questions and listening to their answers, what will happen is that a sense of confidence will grow inside the child, and their mind will naturally gravitate toward creativity. Even ten minds together can come up with a new idea.
But the question is: who will do it? Both schools and parents are extremely important. If they limit the child to just the teacher and the book, the child will feel bored. You have to give them freedom to discuss activities, storytelling, the arts, and so on. That way, the children at home… Also, with their parents, they shouldn't just waste time on their phones or watching TV; they should learn something from their parents. This will increase the child's confidence level with parents and teachers, and they will start making small efforts on their own when they take their first successful step. Once that happens, ideas for creativity will automatically start flowing in his mind—he'll think, “The work I did before was fine, but why not try something new?” And that will cause the child's mind to move toward creativity. In today's world, creative thinking… It has become a very important skill. When you teach a child to think and guide them toward this—that their future depends on it—they will naturally turn to the creative side to build their own lives. So, friends, how did you like my post?
