My title may sound very funny and i bet some of us would have rolled our eyes back… but yeah times are changing and things are moving super fast so situations in life arent longer the way they used to be.
Cities have always represented opportunity, like when you think of development, skill acquisition, jobs and so on, what comes to your mind is looking through the cities around you rather than villages or mountains. Not like the other places cant be industrial or productive but over the years, we have just gotten used to the fact that cities develop faster than the other areas.
For generations, people relocate or travel to the big cities around them or far away believing that if they worked very hard something better could happen there. Of course its so normal to think that way and i dont blame them because over the years cities have successfully offered jobs, education, culture/cultural education, diversity, and so many positive things even the feeling that life was moving forward faster than in smaller places. In many ways, cities became symbols of possibility even until this day a lot of people are moving in while some others are planning to.
Is there anything as crazy as adulthood? lol, and at the end of the day will we be working for Bills? Look at the simple daily living costs, from groceries to utilities.. they increase as the day goes by especially in very crowded cities or environments.
But there is something very funny 😅, the same things that make the big cities attractive are still the same factors that make them expensive. When many people want to live in the same place the demand for housing has automatically risen and economics tells us how the price will increase. Businesses will still struggle for space alongside individuals so then it has to be a currency battle
Many people still move to cities with hope, believing that the opportunities available there will be more than the challenges. It gets harder in reality sometimes yes the job opportunities exist but the cost of maintaining a comfortable life keeps increasing at the same time. Its super hard for a newbie to find balance.
This situation has been a modern dilemma for so many young people esoecially those pursuing their career. Some people dont know where to live to build the future they want… its hard to spend what you are supposed to save on survival while working, frels like a rat race. For me the best thing to do is evaluate the opportunity with the cost, like, make sure the opportunity is affordable by you!
Yes its a good paying job but can you already afford it? Can you drive your car to save you cost? If you have to work towards an opportunity then it doesnt suit you.

Puede que mi título suene gracioso y apuesto a que algunos habrían puesto los ojos en blanco… pero sí, los tiempos cambian y todo avanza a toda velocidad, así que las situaciones de la vida ya no son como antes. Las ciudades siempre han representado oportunidades; cuando pensamos en desarrollo, adquisición de habilidades, empleo, etc., lo primero que nos viene a la mente son las ciudades que nos rodean, en lugar de los pueblos o las montañas. No es que otros lugares no puedan ser industriales o productivos, pero con el paso de los años nos hemos acostumbrado a que las ciudades se desarrollen más rápido que otras zonas.
Durante generaciones, la gente se ha mudado o viajado a las grandes ciudades cercanas o lejanas, creyendo que si trabajaban muy duro podrían lograr algo mejor allí. Por supuesto, es muy normal pensar así y no los culpo, porque a lo largo de los años las ciudades han ofrecido con éxito empleos, educación, cultura/educación cultural, diversidad y muchas cosas positivas, incluso la sensación de que la vida avanzaba más rápido que en lugares más pequeños. En muchos sentidos, las ciudades se convirtieron en símbolos de posibilidad, e incluso hoy en día mucha gente se muda a ellas, mientras que otros planean hacerlo.
¿Hay algo más loco que la adultez? Jajaja, ¿y al final del día trabajaremos para pagar facturas? Fíjense en los gastos diarios, desde la comida hasta los servicios públicos... aumentan a medida que pasa el día, especialmente en ciudades o entornos muy concurridos.
Pero hay algo muy gracioso 😅: las mismas cosas que hacen atractivas a las grandes ciudades son también las que las encarecen. Cuando mucha gente quiere vivir en el mismo lugar, la demanda de vivienda aumenta automáticamente, y la economía nos dice cómo subirá el precio. Las empresas seguirán compitiendo por espacio con los particulares, así que se desata una batalla monetaria. Mucha gente se muda a las ciudades con la esperanza de que las oportunidades superen los desafíos. En realidad, a veces es más difícil: sí, existen oportunidades laborales, pero el coste de mantener una vida cómoda sigue aumentando. Para un recién llegado, encontrar el equilibrio es sumamente complicado.
Esta situación ha sido un dilema moderno para muchos jóvenes, especialmente para aquellos que buscan desarrollar su carrera. Algunos no saben dónde vivir para construir el futuro que desean… es difícil gastar lo que se supone que debes ahorrar para sobrevivir mientras trabajas; es como una carrera de ratas. Para mí, lo mejor es evaluar la oportunidad en función del costo, es decir, ¡asegúrate de que la oportunidad sea asequible para ti!
Sí, es un trabajo bien remunerado, pero ¿ya puedes pagarlo? ¿Puedes usar tu propio coche para ahorrar dinero? Si tienes que trabajar para conseguir una oportunidad, entonces no es para ti.
