I always wondered everything little achievement in Nigeria has to be escorted with a big celebration or party even for a thing like Matriculation.
On Friday i was invited by a close friend for her matriculation and i was amused by the kind of crowd i saw. i thought twice that matriculation was kind an introduction or Just a program to create awareness that you are a true member of the school, but what i saw was more of a convocation or graduation program.
Family members were present even extended family members (grandparents, cousins, aunties and whole lot to mention). Well maybe just the joy of seeing that their once a little baby grow into a man and going into the university.
Well that day went fine and it was fun-filled i went to witness my friends( ex- classmates) matriculate. We were all happy and it was kind of a reunion there because we graduated from high school last year and his was the first time we were seeing ourselves again. we took a lots of pictures till we were exhausted.
I had fun and the occasion was great tho. And happy matriculation to my baby girls.
