Hello teachers, students, and researchers, I am here again today, Wednesday, 29th April, 2020, to share a guide on how to measure "Administrative Effectiveness of School Principals" through research.
Administration consists of activities that are done in order to plan, organize, co-ordinate, supervise and run a business, school or other institution. Educational administration consists of the activities of educational organization as geared towards the attainment of the goals of teaching on the part of teachers and learning on the part of students.
The essence of school administration in educational institution is the enhancement of teaching and learning processes and this is the work of the school administrator.
The need for planning the educational system is derived from the fact that the society is not static and education must respond and adapt to the changing technological, economical, political and social environments of the nation.
Administrative Effectiveness of School Principals as conceptualized in this study is the ability of the school principal to plan for resources acquisition, improve instructional programme and manage teachers in the school.
It is against this background that related studies to measure Administrative Effectiveness of School Principals.
I have put in over seven years into educational researches, and I have discovered that it is a popular problem among research students to be able to construct their instruments for collection of data even when this is a major component for the success of the research. In the coming days, I would be sharing more research guides and tips for students and teachers. This is my way of supporting the @Education-Hive community.
I decided to put below the following guide questions for a researcher who is interested in working on a topic related to "Administrative Effectiveness of School Principals".
