Hello teachers, students, and researchers, I am here again today, Friday, 22nd May, 2020, to share a guide on how to measure "Marketability Indices for Schools" through research.
Parents are aware of the essence of their children’s education. There are also conscious of their limits, influence and the level of supervision on their ward’s education. As such, utmost care is exercised in the choice of secondary schools for their children.
Indices like popularity, past records of students’ success, school environment and other visible assessment parameters are barometers for assessing befitting schools by parents or students. This is so due to the fact that disparities exist and persist between educational standards and learning achievements.
There is no gain saying the fact that, some schools emphasize theoretical knowledge at the expense of technical, vocational, and entrepreneurial education while others strife to stand out from the crowd. These variations may be due to managerial or administrative disparities.
Thus, various efforts made by school administrators to critically characterize their schools in an acceptable manner to intending students and parents is construed in this research as school marketability.
It is against this background that related studies to measure Marketability Indices for Schools.
I have put in over seven years into educational researches, and I have discovered that it is a popular problem among research students to be able to construct their instruments for collection of data even when this is a major component for the success of the research. In the coming days, I would be sharing more research guides and tips for students and teachers. This is my way of supporting the @Education-Hive community.
I decided to put below the following guide questions for a researcher who is interested in working on a topic related to "Schools Marketability”.
