Hello teachers, students, and researchers, I am here again today, Tuesday, 21st April, 2020, to share a guide on how to measure "Self–Identity of Students relative to their Career Choice" through research.
A choice implies the completion of some actions or successful steps, and the attainment of a career is the final outcome of the career choice process. Sociologists have explored the way in which a student's self-identity can shape and reshape his life.
Self-identity could be seen as an individual's adoption of particular group and therefore proud of identifying with such groups. Affiliations with these groups has a way of shaping and reshaping one's choices.
Adolescents begin integrating social identity into their own self-concept in school and this may affect the steps they take towards their future life.
It is against this background that related studies to measure the Self–Identity of Students relative to their Career Choice becomes important.
I have put in over seven years into educational researches, and I have discovered that it is a popular problem among research students to be able to construct their instruments for collection of data even when this is a major component for the success of the research. In the coming days, I would be sharing more research guides and tips for students and teachers. This is my way of supporting the @Steemiteducation and the #Education-Hive community.
I decided to put below the following guide questions for a researcher who is interested in working on a topic related to "Self–Identity of Students relative to their Career Choice".
