On this Monday 20 March 2023 it’s both the hivebirthdate and the start of the astronomical spring. I looked it up on Wikipedia to explain it here.
During the spring in the northern regions of the Northern Hemisphere, the trees become much greener and many plants bloom; gradually it gets warmer and the chance of frost decreases.
Astronomical spring begins in the Northern Hemisphere (usually) on March 20 and ends (usually) on June 21. In the southern hemisphere, astronomical spring usually begins on September 22. The meteorological spring already starts on March 1.
