Hive Power (HP) is very important for you if you like doing things on HIVE Blockchain., As it says "POWER", the higher your HP is, the more powerful you are in Hive Blockchain whether in curating other people work or helping other projects by delegating some Power. So Bottom line is that more HP = more opportunities regardless what you are aim at.
TODAY POWER UP - A SAD DAY FOR ME
This morning I had only 17 HIVE in my wallet and I had a deep dilemma. I knew very well that it meant I could only do a 10 HP power up. It's so embarrassing that I have told people that I am going to be a Hive Dolphin, getting 6000 HP and then I could only do 10 HP power up which only drunkard would believe I could get the dolphin title with that kind of push.
I had to sacrifice my HBD, swap a part of them to HIVE. Atleast this was the only way I could think of to make me avoid getting the lowest level 1 small bee badge. Currently I can not convert any fiat fund into crypto regarding my current life situation.
I have powered up 50 HP today, getting a level 2 bee which is a step back from my last month. I really disappoint with this push, however I am happy I am still be able to keep participating the Hive Power Up Day.
FAILURE IN FOLLOWING MY ACTION PLAN
I have this plan from my previous #HivePUD post in January 2023
My Action plan to achieve my goals are:
1. Participate in all Hive Power Up Day event with minimum 100 HP
2. Never Vest Out Hive Power or Powering Down
3. Participate in some events which can boost up my HP.
4. Reduce the amount of HIVE spending I regularly do, and set them into HP.
Initially I have planned to make a 500 HP up today, and brag my level 4 Fatso Bee to my friends. I have prepared some HIVE from December 2022 when its price was very low that time, around $0.25 - $0.29. However I kept seeing people promoting some tokens on PEAKD, ECENCY, Discord, and twitter and ended up buying some of them. I have spent more than 400 Hive on them, and three of my biggest buy are $LVL, $LGN and $CARTEL
I don't say they are bad, in fact they are great. However I bought them using the HIVE I supposed to use today for Hive Power Up Day event. I have tried my best to get more HIVE from other source I could think off, however I could not catch it up on time. I guess I bite off more than I can chew here.
ACCOUNT GROWTH
My account has grown around 300 HP for the last 30 days, it's a bit slow down because the Hive Price has got stronger. My main source of HIVE is the Author Reward, so currently with HIVE going strong, I get more $ in rewards but the number of HIVE I get is lessen.
Fortunately I could support the growth by participating the HIVE POWER UP MONTH. I am very excited when HIVEBUZZ announce the Power Up Month Winner in their post, @hivebuzz/pum-202301-result , and my name is listed there:
Although today is not a bright day, its not a complete failure. Atleast I can accomplished something great today, getting the HIVE POWER UP MONTH badge for the first time in my life.
