April 2026 HPUD: 6K HP Unlocked!

It's the 1st of the month, and you know how we do it here, right? If you don't know, it's Hive Power Up Day! Hope you won't miss it.
So I started 2026 with 5K HP and a goal to hit 7K HP before the year ended, and honestly, it felt like a stretch, but I was hopeful. At least with 7k, I might become a Dolphin, not really sure if that would work, though.
With the goal in mind, I continued showing up every day - blogging, creating, curating, and engaging with the community, and thankfully, it's paid off. Three months in, and I've already hit 6K HP! That's 1k HP in just 3 months. Isn't that amazing? Honestly, I didn't see that coming. Gosh! I'm over the moon with excitement!
Here's the rundown;
Before Power Up
I had 5933.397 HP before powering up.
Powered up 66.602 Hive
After Power Up
6k HP unlocked! You go, girl! π If this keeps up, I'll hit 7K before Q2 ends, and I'd probably be hitting 9k+ HP wrapping up the year. That'd be absolutely great.
1k in 3 months might seem small to some users - they can rake it in in just a few days, but for me, it's a big deal. As a creator who doesn't earn much from my content, plus no extra income to buy Hive tokens and power up, I rely heavily on my rewards to power up my Hive account. So every reward counts.
It's motivating to see my hard work, or should I say smart work, pay off. The support from fellow creators and the community has been awesome. Yeah, you all made it happen for me, and I'm really grateful.
In fact, the recent change in rewards from HBD/HP to HP/Hive also made a big difference. Half of the reward was going directly into HP, and it really showed in my numbers. Honestly, I like this new change, I must confess. Hehehe.
And again, I won't fail to mention that I also got a nice 1K HP delegation from , and that helped boost my curation rewards too. Thanks, friend. I hope to win again in the next round. Lol. Yeah, I'm Oliver Twist! Anything that'd help grow my HP, I'm game.
What's Next?
We all know that Hive token hasn't been doing well recently. This isn't peculiar to Hive alone; the crypto market, generally, is affected. So I bid you, do not let this situation discourage you from showing up and engaging in the community. We need each other to make Hive strong again.
And if you're into blogging just like me, keep at it. I believe this is the time to blog more to rake in more Hive, especially if you're someone like me who doesn't have the financial power to purchase them.
In summary, I'll still be here blogging, curating, engaging with other users, supporting viable projects, and building my stake - very important. Lol. If other things come up, I'll gladly contribute my quota
Phew! Guess I've rambled enough, so I'll wrap up here. π
Happy #hpud once again!
