Happy 3rd Birthday (aka Fork Day), Hive!

 
 

A very special blockchain deserves a very special birthday celebration, and Hive account@victoriabsb and Hive account@eddiespino certainly know how to get the party started! They came up with the celebration idea, then Hive account@theycallmedan and Hive account@blocktrades came up with the party favors, which turned into the awesome HivePowerBday Initiative - 100K HP Delegations in Prizes!

Be sure to check out the post for all the details, but here are the basics -

Rules to be eligible for any of the prizes:

1. Make a power-up of 10 HIVE or more on March 20th. Check out the time in UTC, so you don't miss the date.
2. Make a "Happy Bday Hive" post and add the #HivePowerBday tag.
3. Share your post on Twitter and other social media.
4. Accounts must be older than one month of creation & have a reputation of 39 or more.
5. Your account should have less than 25K Hive Power to qualify for the prizes.
6. Be in good standing with the Hive community.

Needless to say, my power up and post won't count towards prizes, but how could I resist the celebration? 😄

 
 

 
 

It's been almost exactly five and a half years since I joined this amazing blockchain community (started on our legacy chain, obvs), and in that time I've become a hard core stan for all things Hive.

I still need to do a post about finally hitting Orca (as well as about a zillion other post ideas I have rattling around in my head - guess it's a good thing that next month is #HiveBloPoMo / Hive Blog Posting Month...lol!) but for the moment my time online is limited, so I'll leave you with a short and sweet wish that everyone has a...
