You don't hear much about the Russia - Ukraine war lately because everybody is talking about the recession.
An economical contraction that most economies worldwide might be in already. That doesn't mean, though that the war is over, it doesn't mean that it is a necessary war either...
If someone asked me why I believe Russia has gotten into a war with Ukraine, the first thing coming to my mind would be NATO. Ukraine used to be a buffer country between NATO and CSTO.
Nato is an alliance of 30 countries spread across the globe while CSTO is basically Russia and a bunch of its satellite countries. CSTO is a six countries alliance with Russia being the big bear. Russia is the no.1 nuclear power in the world by the way.
Nato is an alliance of 30 countries rocking a combined military arsenal that puts Russia to shame. However, as Putin said, there would be no winner in a war between NATO and Russia. We still have a war in Ukraine, though which is actually a proxy between America and Russia the way I see it.
BUT Russia would have never attacked NATO. It would make no sense at all. Russia just "reacted" to Ukraine's wish to join NATO and the EU. There's some economical interest over there as well... Russia's economy relies heavily on exporting natural resources such as oil and gas, but in order to do that it had to drag pipes through Ukraine.
Ukraine was getting its share of the profits in this business, but if Russia would "conquer Ukraine" or the territories through which the pipelines are installed in order to transport oil and gas to the WEST, which pretty much represent the whole country, then it would be all Russian business.
Ukraine has its natural resources as well, "quite similar" to what Russia is using to stay afloat economically ;) and if Ukraine would have joined the EU and would have fully opened its doors to foreign investors the influence over the advantage Russia has on exporting natural resources would be drastically diminished.
Russia had to attack Ukraine. Russia is also suffering from a demographic perspective, thus bringing "fresh meat" to its territory would translate to more cheap labor at hand.
This war is not caused by just one factor the way I see it. It's the result of a bubble which has burst recently, the explosion of the bubble being mostly caused by NATO(America) imo, and as you can see the Americans are the ones supporting it the most. I'm not a Russia supporter in here, let that be clear, that's why I tried and analyse the causes of this war as balanced as possible.
But even then... What do you call the president of Ukraine and his wife posing and doing photoshoots for Vogue in the middle of a dam war? People are dying while "the actor" and his wife fell for Vogue's "offer" to paint the portrait of this war in presidency colors. I will call their latest Vogue portraits as the portraits of hipocrisy. The whole war imo is a hipocrisy.
It could have been easily avoided or at least tammed down in its early stages. This is mostly a war of egos and Zelensky is nothing but a puppet playing as it is dictated to him. Otherwise, he would not monkey around photoshooting for Vogue. You simply don't do that when you have a war going on in the country.
We're all somehow paying for it and these hypocrites don't care at all about that. Because they're all a bunch of mentally ill fat power hungry filthy hypocrites. Fucke em!
Thanks for your attention,
