Social Action's work. The team of Rubio
Friends today I bring you a simple summary of what we are doing in my city with the foundation, a little over a month ago I was appointed coordinator of this project, since then it is my responsibility along with the other coordinator of the team to manage the days that are made in the municipality. Something easy to say but when it comes to practice is much more complicated than we thought.
The last few weeks have flown by but not lightly, as they have been hard times and work, which despite not seeing a monetary compensation have been worth it, because although we do not receive monetary compensation for this, if we can say that we make the world a little better.
Our last day was in the community of La Palmita, in a sector called Ayacucho. An area where you can really see how needy people are, with more than 3 children per house and always with 1 or 2 elderly people and with limited economic income. Many times I see this in the communities I visit, but in this case I really felt a pang in my chest to know that some people were eating for the first time in the day for those arepas that we were bringing them.
It is not easy to do this kind of things, since the walks are long, the time dedicated to the surveys and cooking is not little and the money that is invested for these days comes out of our pockets because of the same need, but ... Despite everything, we can not stand aside without doing anything to help people.

El trabajo de Acción Social. Equipo de Rubio
Amigos hoy les traigo un resumen sencillo sobre lo que estamos haciendo en mi ciudad con la fundación, desde hace poco mas de un mes fui nombrado coordinar de este proyecto, desde entonces es mi responsabilidad junto a la otra coordinadora del equipo gestionar las jornadas que se hacen en el municipio. Algo fácil de decir pero que a la hora de la practica es mucho mas complicado de lo que creíamos.
Las ultimas semanas han pasado volando pero no de forma ligera, ya que han sido tiempos duros y de trabajo, los cuales pese a no ver una compensación monetaria han valido la pena, ya que pese a que no recibimos una compensación monetaria por esto, si podemos decir que hacemos el mundo un poco mejor.
Nuestra ultima jornada fue en la comunidad de la Palmita, en un sector llamado Ayacucho. Una zona donde realmente se ve lo necesitadas que están las personas, con mas de 3 niños por casa y siempre con 1 o 2 personas mayores y con limitados ingresos económicos. Muchas veces veo esto en las comunidades que visito, pero en este caso de verdad senti una punzada en el pecho al saber que algunas personas comían por primera vez en el dia por esas arepas que nosotros les estábamos llevando.
No es fácil hacer este tipo de cosas, ya que las caminatas son largas, el tiempo que se le dedica a los sondeos y a cocinar no es poco y el dinero que se invierte para estas jornadas sale de nuestros bolsillos por la misma necesidad, pero… Pese a todo, no podemos quedarnos de lado sin hacer nada para ayudar a las personas.
