The number of victims of the US war on terror since September 11, 2001 was 4.6 million!
The total number of victims of the US global war on terrorism since September 11, 2001 is between 4.5 and 4.6 million people, according to the publication, citing a study by Brown University.
Calculating the minimum number of war-on-terrorism-related deaths in conflicts in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Somalia, and Yemen is difficult because the impact is “so vast and complex” that it is ultimately unquantifiable.
The death toll is estimated to be between 4.5 and 4.6 million, with 3.6 to 3.7 million dying of "indirect causes" caused by deteriorating economic, environmental, psychological and health conditions.
