My father in-law aged 90 went into the hospital two nights ago because he went unresponsive for awhile at our house and we thought he might have had a stroke. It turns out the issue was really that his O2 Saturation dropped to about 80. The ambulance (which I was able to follow as they didn't use lights or rush) kept him on 5 liters of Oxygen to the hospital to keep him at 90+ sat.
Now we said no Ventilators and no Remdesivir. All they did the first night was give him some Steroids. They didn't even give him his Parkinsons related meds and other meds he takes daily for a long time the next day and they do all kinds of stupid things related to paranoia. (selectively applying what to react to makes it stupid). They did say he came back COVID positive. Which yes I have had a cold and so has my entire house so apparently that is what I am dealing with as well.
My concern is him... he is old and has other comorbidities.
If not for the blocking of Ivermectin I am 100% certain this issue would have been resolved. In fact his situation is a lot like this article I read today in the U.K.
Ivermectin smuggled in chocolate bar saves British Covid patient’s life
Now we do have some of the ingredients like Quercetin that should be at our house today or tomorrow. Yet today her dad is up to 10 liters of oxygen. We do have oxygen machines at my house but they max out at 5 liters so getting him home and handling it ourselves is less an option than it was.
My Question
My question to any of you out there is if you know a way at this time in this environment to get Ivermectin quickly that we can then take and administer ourselves.
We live in mid-Missouri not far from Jefferson City, and Osage Beach.
It is really sick that we have to do this...
They think going to presentations at the hospital is sufficient training and why they consider themselves informed...
Yet you know as well as I do whom is providing the presentations...
