It's survived for weeks.
1,026 soldiers surrender?
This city has been fighting tooth and nail and even though a thousand soldiers were forced to surrender because most likely they were out of food as well as ammunition.
Humanitarian efforts need to step in and of course there was an offer to exchange all Ukrainian prisoners of War in return for one of Putin's allies and oligarch that happens to have been under house arrest tried to escape so hopefully we would see some mercy from the Russian forces in return for one of their billionaires.
It's pretty interesting events have happened today and I'm wondering what all is going on with battle lines.
I've been consistently watching Russian forces getting mauled and pushing back.
Ukrainian operations seem to continue fertilizing Russian forces on multiple fronts as well as continually showcasing some incredible war footage making this one of the most documented conflicts in human history.
Ukrainian forces with the advantage of special forces from around the world as well as experienced combat veterans, all of this experience is revolving into A meat grinder.
We are actually seeing War tourism with individuals going to warzone just for social media clout.
Let alone some extremely experienced combat operations soldiers from coalition forces getting Ukrainian military support.
The continued attacks especially behind enemy lines and especially behind Russian borders is just absolutely astounding.
However it is also highly expected with the extremely experience special operations personnel that have volunteered from NATO coalition forces.
I can only imagine the books that are going to be written about this in a digital format that will most likely include video documentation of events.
Meanwhile the war on propaganda is just entering phenomenal new realms on both sides of the conflict.
Really deciphering the truth of what is going on as well as the claims of war crimes are going to be involving the international criminal court as well as the court of public opinion.
And of course unfortunately dissenting opinion as well as Russian supporters here on the blockchain have been getting the repercussions. Yep that's right I don't hear very much from the mass posting trolls.
However the fact that so many issues about this war have been coming out it is only normal for the rest of the world to react in horror. We have both sides shooting massive amounts of munitions and at the same time quite a few of these munitions are being shot back at Russian forces from the ukrainians.
Don't forget pretty much all captured ammo is able to be used directly at the front lines. Ukrainian forces have the unique advantage of a phenomenal amount of owned Russian armaments as well as captured Russian armaments that now been repurposed.
I'm reminded of the video of the American posting how he got a 50 cal heavy machine gun off of a Russian tank just by using a Leatherman tool.
Don't forget the massive industry within the Ukraine that is repurposing and renovating Russian captured vehicles and sending all this material back to front lines.
We will see if the Russians have assault the equipment maintenance logistical issues.
Between all of the logistical equipment issues and all of the supply line insurgency tactics and asymmetrical warfare being applied in this conflict I really don't see there is much hope for Russian forces and their attempt at counter attacks.
And a couple of hundred men showing up with a bunch of ammo as well as food would be quite a interesting prospect for the bleaguered and overwhelmed Russian forces battling in that City.
The city has absolutely been destroyed and even more individuals are coming out saying that they're going to fight to the death to defend the city.
The Tide is turning however it is not turning fast enough to save the city.
It is phenomenal that they were able to survive this long however the fact that this city still hasn't completely surrendered is going to be a rallying cry kind of like the Alamo had for us as well as Pearl harbor and the world trade center...
Is all this theater?
Well let's just say all those American missiles and now the stinger and javelin missile companies employing thousands of Americans now has job security for the next 5 years where is Russia doesn't have the funds to be able to replace pretty much a fraction of what they've expended. Let alone the massive amount of munitions that are expended on the daily basis during this conflict.
And there's a reason why you pay for better ammo. Better ammo means that you shoot and actually know that you can rely in the munition.
Apparently Russian defense contracting doesn't exactly have the same quality control standards.
Which would be the reason why so many of the American forces really enjoy and can rely on the function of the tools that they have to use.
The entire Ukrainian area has been littered with unexploded ordinance that is going to really have some lasting after effects making this extremely difficult battleground to clean up and to identify all the unexploded ordinance or uxo.
It took decades for I believe Burma to deal with the massive amount of unexpended ordinance and phenomenal amounts of mines that were casually distributed throughout the countryside.
And even to this day there are still unexploded minds everywhere that haven't been able to be identified.
So as a result of that deduction I can only imagine what the timeline is going to be to recover after this entire situation.
That's definitely pretty big. As well you were talking about massive amounts of environmental damage. These munitions are not environmentally friendly.
We can only pray for this city. We can only pray for peace and watch the news as this conflict is recorded and shared pretty near real time.
There is never been a conflict like this. Massive outdated behemoth tanks fall do the wayside.
A simple drone with a camera and now direct artillery as well as provide reconnaissance for officers and non-commissioned officers to plan immediate action ambushes while having an OverWatch to understand the complexities of a three-dimensional real time conflict.
And apparently without GPS Russian tanks are easy targets.
Let alone Western forces and modern targeting computers able to spit out ballistic calculations they're by increasing range of lethality as well as information sharing capabilities.
And then of course don't forget the targeted improvised explosive device technology now producing havoc on Russian supply lines.
And I'm saying a prayer for the 1026 Ukrainian soldiers that have been reported to have surrendered from Mariupol. So I was hoping to do at least that many words in this post today and I was at least able to achieve that.
Many prayers for peace and hopefully this conflict will end.
