So IHOP on the live stream with this link and they do an excellent job of covering this trial.
Well I walk in and I see Kyle Rittenhouse on the stand and I'm just floored. Why....
The prosecution is going to go crazy and act as stupid as possible which pissed off the judge forcing a recess so as we're currently writing this they are headed to lunch.
Which should give me time to be able to write this and say what a huge folly this is and a huge gamble this could either pay off.
However this is a huge Gamble and as all gambles are not guaranteed, I see the defense having an airtight case for the murder charges and the far majority of this other than our straw man purchase because this kid couldn't wait until he was 18.
Yeah never expect that you're going to walk out unscathed however this kid is not guilty of murder with a very clear and documented argument for self-defense. Which you're in America self-defense is an extremely defined term. There is already been so many court cases and rulings to these effects that have codified into our self-defense law.
There was no he wrote in the story.
Kyle did what he had to do and will be haunted with repercussions of this actions however, his intelligence quit thinking willingness to help and the contents of his heart are on full display.
We had multiple individuals carrying firearms that night and only because these individuals started threatening and waving around their guns that this entire shooting came to be.
However trying to take an assault rifle away from an individual is not an advisable thing let alone attacking them from ambush in the dark and then failing. The events of this night are made so much more clear with hindsight as well as the FBI's own thermal imaging video. We can correspond and correlate seeing these multiple different videos. And because of the massive amount of streaming we actually get to see quite a bit of the events that have happened that normally would have been shrouded in mystery as well as only the survivors accounts.
Very clearly you can see the actions of so many individuals imprinted for the rest of human history in print media as well as popular culture now.
Kyle is very unlikely hero and I see a very worried stressed and defenseless child even though he is now 18 he still looks like a baby.
This is a situation that he should never have been in. Had he not done his best and tried to help others.
Personally I am going to say he is guilty of a straw man purchase of that AR-15. On top of it he was also running around with it when he shouldn't have been doing so.
What he isn't guilty of is murder because he did not intentionally try to attack anyone and you can clearly see in the footage each one of these events was precipitated by someone aggressively charging and attacking him.
The first deceased individual happens to be having a flash burn on his hand from trying to grab the muzzle.
The next incident all rounds are in an upward trajectory. With the last individual who was shot getting his arm vaporized more due to the incredible gas pressure as well as the bullet passing through his arm.
I do not see Kyle being exonerated on all charges I see him facing the music for what he is guilty of.
However with the totality of circumstances personally I think he should get a slap on the wrist and his rifle back.
Next up the individual threatening him with a gun as well as the other individual who shot his gun should be arraigned with the triple shooting double homicide. As well as other individuals involved in the mob attack...
And then the prosecuting attorneys definitely deserve to be removed as well as charged with felonies. Pursuing these charges was a massive waste of taxpayer money and resources.
