Well imagine that you are a young Russian officer and get assigned.
I really didn't need to know the background story however 4 days before War, and a military transport flies you to the conflict. And during the conflict your gun cannot shoot in your infantry fighting vehicle.... And you have to abandon it and get captured.
Though I knew this entire conflict was all sorts of crazy however after watching this you definitely realize the massive amount of desperation.
Let alone the fear that was going through this individual's life while he was waiting to be captured. Brutal shocking honest and I'll be honest excellent filmmaking...
After this I feel a lot of sympathy for that young Russian soldier as well as repercussions that going towards probably going to have upon his life.
