How you feel about wearing a surgical mask to the grocery store (or anywhere really, with the possible exception of in an operating room) has become an internalized struggle. The mask, in fact, blends the compliant and the defiant into a homogenized sea of facelessness.
I know there are many of you out there who feel virtuous for donning your mask and protecting your fellow shoppers. Those who refuse or resist must seem so selfish. What's so hard about it? Don't you know there's a dangerous pandemic going on?
Don't you know that if you are an asymptomatic carrier who is not wearing a mask and you come within 6' of someone who is vulnerable and you cough, sneeze or somehow spit on them, they could get the corona virus and die and it would be your fault? How can you be willing to take that kind of risk!
Then there's the other type of person who, rather than listen to mainstream media's non-stop fear mongering, have done their own research.
We've found out that "asymptomatic carriers" CANNOT spread infection. It used to be called "being immune".
We also found out that the government has massively fudged the death toll. At the end of August 2020 the CDC quietly mentioned on their webpage that only 6% of the 150,000 people that had died in the US of COVID (that's 9,200 deaths) were actually killed by the virus. 94% were already dying with 2-3 other serious illnesses. In other words, they died of cancer, and/or parkinson's, cardiovascular disease, pneumonia or diabetes, and had tested positive for Corona virus.
We found out that governors refused to allow families to take their loved ones out of nursing homes while admitting COVID patients into the facility with them. By infecting the most vulnerable population, government policy caused up to 75% of the fatalities in some states.
So maybe trusting these same people when they say to wear masks (or no matter what they say), is just not smart.
Anyway, that's a quick take on how I see things. Obviously I share the frustration of those who realize what's really going on and are still required to walk around in public like compliant sheep wearing a muzzle. It's a constant source of irritation and frustration.
WELL I HAD AN IDEA...
If you've done your own research on the internet, this mask needs no introduction. It's the Guy Fawkes mask. Adopted by the hacker's group, Anonymous, it is a symbol of rebellion and defiance.
I've decided that in 2021, when I am told to put on a mask, I will look the enforcer straight in the eye and, as I stride past them, I will pull on this symbol of non-compliance.
They might have no idea what it means, but I know what it means and will wear it proudly instead of feeling angry and humiliated.
It is the perfect counter measure to the notion you are being virtuous, and socially responsible when you put on a surgical mask. When the truth is you're putting blind faith in people that are manipulating and misleading you and demonstrating that you are completely unable to think for yourself.
I know that in 2021, as they continue to drag this nonsense out, the change of mask will help me cope, but you know what would be a million times cooler?
If all of us that know the truth turn this government psyops on its head, by using their symbol of our compliance to express our dissent.
Let's separate ourselves from the masses. When we see other people wearing the Guy Fawks mask it could be a sort of secret handshake. We'll connect, (in just the way the government is trying to stop us from connecting). If everyone that knows the truth starts wearing it, it could be like the yellow vest in France, a mandate that became a symbol of dissent.
Thing is, I know there are a lot of people that are awake and know the truth of what's going on. There's millions of us. I see them online all the time, but in our day to day existence, all we see is a bunch of compliant idiots.
Separate yourselves from the herd! Let's use their mandate to encourage each other that we are not alone. Our numbers are growing every day. We know what they are doing,
AND WE DO NOT COMPLY.
