The covid doom-prophets declared over 30,000 deaths would occur in Sweden without the imposition of the severe lockdown measures being recommended. Sweden didn't listen. Sweden was going to be the land of covid deaths in by June 2020. They didn't want to lockdown and impose mandates.
What happened? There was 10% of that in the 3,000s. What a shocker. THe doom prophets are wrong about their doom fear porn scenarios. Go figure. It's not like they were wrong in the past about the fear porn on other viruses. Oh wait, they were!
But the year wasn't over (at the time)! There was still more time to prove the doom prophets right and signal to the world how devastating not locking down is! Just wait and see, the believers in the narrative thought, Sweden will suffer greatly!
But 2020 came and went, and while most of the world was busy obeying ridiculous lockdown advise from the UK's Imperial College, Sweden didn't. The models that were prophesizing doom were badly done. They were shown to be badly done. And yet, the world kept marching along that bullshit.
Then the narrative of well Sweden is different, they aren't like the US or UK. Or well Sweden still did worse that it's Scandinavian neighbors. Yeah, only marginally worse. No where near what the doom prophets were saying would happen.
With all the false conclusions about dying from covid, merely from having a PCR test positive, you need to not focus on these alleged death counts. What is more realistic to see how lethal a virus has been?
