What does it say about people when they aren't willing to do something, for whatever reason, but then when money is presented, they do it?
Welcome to the COVID vaccine lottery of Ohio, where the Vax-a-million lottery took place. People practically ran to get covid shots for the change to win a million.
Here's what one winner said about his experience:
"I kept hemming and hawing about it, and I work all the time, and when the Vax-a-Million thing started I immediately went down there and got it. It pushed me over the edge,"
"It’s overwhelming. I don't know what to do. I'm still dreaming,"
The scheme worked. Millions more helped the vaccine numbers surge up. But then it leveled off
More than 3.2 million Ohioans entered the drawing to win the $1 million prize, and nearly 133,000 Ohioans ages 12 to 17 entered the college scholarship drawing, according to the Ohio Department of Health and the Ohio Lottery. The entry period for the next Ohio Vax-a-Million drawing ends June 6, 2021 at 11:59:59 p.m.
Governor DeWine credited the lottery enticement for a spike in new vaccinations after his initial announcement, but the numbers show the rate has again leveled off.
The is what the cult of money will do. Money is the most popular god on the planet. People not do something, but when money is involved, the make the time to do it.
Safety? Whatever, who cares. They aren't concerned about the safety. These people were probably going to get it eventually anyways, because they believe what their told for the most part. Even some who are hesitant will be swayed to get it after the possibility of a million dollars is waved in front of them.
Money rules. Cash rules everything around me, CREAM, get the dollah dollah billz y'all!
