Are police good? Think about it hard. The obvious answer for 99% of people is that yes police are good. They stop the bag guys. Without them, there would be CHAOS!!!
If you are following orders as part of your job, that means you aren't deciding for yourself is your actions are rightful or wrongful to take. You just do them for a paycheck. There might be a few who refuse, and maybe those become good people, but no longer are the cops, so they aren't good cops, and never were. They uphold the system of authority and theft masquerading as justice until they quit.

The whole Good Cop / Bad Cop question can be disposed of much more decisively. We need not enumerate what proportion of cops appears to be good or listen to someone's anecdote about his uncle Charlie, an allegedly good cop.We need only consider the following:
A cop's job is to enforce the laws, all of them;
Many of the laws are manifestly unjust, and some are even cruel and wicked;
Therefore every cop has to agree to act as an enforcer for laws that are manifestly unjust or even cruel and wicked.
