I personally wrote this post to highlight a little the seriousness of this issue and the little awareness that is being given to it, a child has been able to take his own life due to bullying.
I'll tell you a little more, let's see.
The news of the suicide of Drayke Hardman, a 12-year-old boy due to the bullying he received from a classmate at school, shocked the United States and the entire world.
A classmate at a Utah school harassed, attacked and subdued to death Hardman, who committed suicide by hanging from the hood of one of his divers. Can you believe it?
It was his sisters who found him in this terrible scene and although his parents ran to try to save him, it was already too late, little Drayke was already lifeless.
I cannot think how horrible it must have been for the parents and I fully accompany them in their pain, but the sisters who found the lifeless body are also in danger seeing that their brother saw death as an alternative to this problem and like them, it can be possibly many other children.
“This is the result of bullying, my handsome boy was fighting a battle that even I couldn't save him. It is real, it is silent and there is absolutely nothing you can do as a parent to take away this deep pain. There are no signs, just hurtful words from others who ultimately stole our Drayke from this cruel place," the boy's mother said.
Hardman was in seventh grade, the youngest of three children. His parents, Andy and Samie, shared part of the child's tastes through social networks and have received thousands of comments of support for his loss.
Starting his studies in the most recent school year, Samie shared a photo of Drayke smiling, accompanied by a caption that reads “Hello 7th grade! My baby, now discover puberty and girls! Pray for me!".
This is really terrible and painful, I know that there are many parents on this platform and they will understand my frustration. Please let's be more sensitive to these issues, increase communication with our children and inquire into their lives (with certain limits, of course) and make sure everything is okay.
Most teenagers have an amazing ability to hide their pain and frustration with smiles and silence, but even I have been the victim of this horrible thing and I know what it's like to wait until nightfall to cry until
