The capacity to produce marketable petroleum has been, and is continuing to be, destroyed in the ME. The US has proved to all the Arab states it's commitment to defend them no longer exists. The bases the US has there - and possibly all around the world - will gradually be closed and China or Russia will be replacing them. Israel may cease to exist, as Kissinger predicted. The pathological cult of Moloch that ruled Israel, and bribed and blackmailed it's way to power behind the thrones of the world, is now on blast, through the Epstein files and this war, and I expect their minions to be purged from their positions as the suffering caused by the incipient economic collapse pares away the tolerance of the competent, along with the weak, dependent, incompetent people parasitized by that cult.

The short term pain will be that process, purging the cannibal cultists and system of privately owned national banks that enables them to conjure money out of thin air, that was only tolerated because society benefited. The long term gain will be freedom, as people necessarily adopt decentralized means of production to enable them to have modern goods and services that the collapsing centralized production is not capable of delivering anymore. We are transiting a clinal boundary, from overlords and centralized production that enables them to parasitize our production and our consumption, to decentralized production that forces us to merit the wealth we have because we make it ourselves, and cannot be parasitized by overlords.

This will be an evolutionary process. Evolution works by leaving only the fit alive to produce the next generation. In nature, when people are too stupid, lazy, weak, or evil to do what must be done, they perish before reproducing. Since overlords needed slaves to serve them and produce the wealth they tapped, they have not purged, but rewarded, the stupid, lazy, and evil that served them. They will no longer have that ability to breed complacent livestock when people seize the means of production suitable to their personal circumstances, and human evolution will be restored to natural pressures again.

Iran won the Purim war because it decentralized and distributed it's political structure, war materiel production, storage, and military command. The prosperity of the West has been a gift from Iran, at least in the last decade, that it has paid a dear price to give. It has withheld this economic destruction despite the decades of sanctions, destabilization by infiltration of saboteurs, and direct attacks, until it no longer could withhold it and survive. Intelligent people that have not been incapacitated by the noxious indoctrinations the West has imposed on them will not fail to note these facts, that decentralization is what created the resilience of Iran to defeat the economies of scale possessed by the centralize West. The destruction of centralized economies is just beginning, as the lack of fuel has only begun to impact them. As it continues to do so, the best and brightest will decrease their dependence on centralized supply and emulate the decentralization that has empowered Iran.

"I can't just flip a switch and turn off AI."

That's exactly how to get rid of AI: turn off the power. That's exactly what is coming, a dearth of fuel that will eliminate the power to produce AI. Cuba has had a chronic shortage of fuel, causing a shortage of electricity, and it has no AI industry. It cannot have an AI industry because AI requires massive power consumption, and Cuba does not have power to support it. The cost of AI has just skyrocketed because the fuel supply of the Earth has just decreased by ~20% with the long term closure of the Strait of Hormuz. It will be years, perhaps a decade or more, before the Gulf states rebuild their production capacity. Countries that degraded their power production capacity, like Germany and the UK, will be fortunate to not end up with children living under train stations. 50 fertilizer plants have closed across Europe, short the fuel supply from which fertilizer is made. Eliminating gas supplies does not just leave a country short of industry and winter heat, it eliminates fertilizer, and the food supplies that depend on it. A famine of unprecedented proportion approaches, and folks in places where the Green Revolution has struck hardest should look at moving to places where fertilizers are still manufactured, right now, before the fuel to travel on becomes to expensive for people of ordinary means to afford.

Don't fail to note that AI has been defeated by Iran. The hubris and narcissism of the psychopaths in possession of AI has created those same traits in AI, because it is only derivative of the intent of its creators. AI has been defeated by foundational principles, by humility and the wisdom it produces, not superior AI. Devious deception focusing power in the hands of the duplicitous does not defeat the truth distributed across decent people. That deception is today what underlies the petrodollar, as the Gulf states discover to their chagrin, and the motto of Mossad 'By Deception You Shall Wage War' is what has cracked their monolithic power that cannot be maintained as a pile of rubble. The pride of Israelis in their deception and duplicity is what has disabled them from grasping dishonesty is their Achilles' Heel, the very weakness that leaves their false front of power insuperable in the aftermath of apocalypse.

The intent of the cultists to suppress truth, to censor and conceal the evil deception by which they subjugate the deceived, is on full display in the US today, as is the cure for being tortured into compliance, the honest truth distributed that has defeated the US and Israel in the ME, and will across the world. It is that honest understanding of the intent to render to possession that is behind the KYC and censorship they are imposing that is revealed, and it's noxious evil will not be tolerated.

This will hurt. A lot. But those that survive and thrive will be better men, and know their wealth depends on their merit, not the favor of some psycho, and they will build a better world.
