"Recently I have understood more of the times that we're living in than ever before. And ladies and gentlemen, if you didn't know it: you're in the middle of a war. And what we're dealing with, on a daily basis, are acts of war."

Those aren't my words. Those are the opening remarks from Gene Baily, the host and pastor, the "televangelist" on a show called "Flashpoint" from the faith-based Christian television network "Victory Channel", which is owned by Kenneth Copeland. So the man is preaching about war. Who is the enemy? Well, everything about the show, and everything about Victory Channel breathes Christian Nationalism, conservatism and Trumpism; the enemy is liberalism and liberals, they're possessed by Satan and they're trying to destroy America, to destroy you and your children and grandchildren. This entire speech is dark and deeply upsetting, and is effectively a call to action to the listeners: we have to defeat our enemy before it's too late!
Although Baily follows his opening statement with the caution that he's not talking about "going to get your AR and go down and take care of business", he should know that that's exactly how his message could very well be interpreted by his extremist evangelical audience. Have you seen the news that children's hospitals are the latest target of anti-LGBTQ harassment? Well, this pastor has explicitly asked his audience to "call" those hospitals, preferably during business hours, to protest against gender confirmation surgery on minors, something which happens almost never. It's just one of the many conspiracy theories coming from the far right these days; transgender and gender diverse healthcare is not surgery, but they scream and shout about "genital mutilation" on kids...
Baily goes on to reaffirm for his audience that the 2020 elections were stolen. Another devilish act from the Satanic progressives. I'm not going to dissect this entire speech: the below linked video does a great job all by itself. I do want to briefly touch on this hideous use and dissemination of outrageous, dangerous and, frankly, racist and antisemitic conspiracies. All these right wing conspiracy theories revolve around a common center that has its roots in antisemitism and anti-communism. They all boil down to this: Jews bad and leftists bad. There's a conspiracy theory at the heart of all this, one that originated somewhere around 1901, 1902, ad that's The Protocols of the Elders of Zion; a fabricated antisemitic text describing a Jewish plan for world-domination.
To fully understand how this eventually became a collection of anti-progressive and anti-communist conspiracies, we have to mention that The Protocols of the Elders of Zion was originally published in Russia in 1903 before it was adopted and translated in many countries and languages, and played a key part in popularizing belief in an international Jewish conspiracy. The first and most important thing to know about "The Protocols" is that they are completely fake. They're a hoax, plagiarized from several earlier sources, among which is "Dialogue in Hell Between Machiavelli and Montesquieu", a political satire on Napoleon by Maurice Joly.
The Protocols is one of the best-known and most-discussed examples of literary forgery, with analysis and proof of its fraudulent origin dating as far back as 1921. The forgery is an early example of "conspiracy theory" literature. Written mainly in the first person plural, the text includes generalizations, truisms, and platitudes on how to take over the world: take control of the media and the financial institutions, change the traditional social order, etc. It does not contain specifics.

Read the entire Wikipedia article for some examples of how the text from "The Protocols" has been copied from that 1864 political satire. You'll also learn that this Russian antisemitic hoax ties in closely with many other aspects from popular conspiracy theories, like the Knights Templar, Freemasons and the Jewish domination of banks, media and governments. From the very start this fabricated text was used as a tool, a political weapon against the Bolsheviks who were depicted as overwhelmingly Jewish, allegedly executing the "plan" embodied in "The Protocols". Its purpose was to discredit the October Revolution, prevent the West from recognizing the Soviet Union, and bring about the downfall of Vladimir Lenin's regime. I'll leave it up to you to guess how the text was used by the Nazis.
In America "The Protocols" has and had many prominent figures backing it, one of the earliest being Henry Ford who published in a newspaper he owned — The Dearborn Independent — a series of antisemitic articles that quoted liberally from the Protocols; Ford was an admirer of Nazi Germany.
In 1921, Ford cited evidence of a Jewish threat: "The only statement I care to make about the Protocols is that they fit in with what is going on. They are 16 years old, and they have fitted the world situation up to this time."

These Protocols are full of generalizations, truisms, and platitudes, just as any other "good" conspiracy theory. Their lack of specifics make them applicable for any time and any situation, and make them hard to disprove. I don't know if people are aware that they tacitly support this old antisemitic and dangerous conspiracy theory when they listen to and agree with, let's say, Jordan Peterson's nonsense about "Cultural Marxism" or hateful speeches like the one from Gene Baily linked below. Do they know that their resistance against progressivism is based in the same kind of fear that motivated the pro-czar monarchs from Russia to fabricate the text that popularized antisemitism in the 20th century? Watch the below linked video with the entire speech; there's commentary from an ex-Christian for some much needed balance. Or watch this video for a shorter commentary on the most important parts of the spech.
