Yesterday I had the opportunity to make friendly visits to people in a community near the city where I live. A family of acquaintances offered us to come to their house and have lunch. Since I hadn't been to these rural areas for a long time, I felt renewed and at peace because of the tranquility that one breathes there. There is no stress that someone will harm us in any way, because in this place people are cordial. With my cell phone camera I was able to capture some beautiful flowers that were in the garden of the house. The owner of the garden told us how he found this place before building his house and planting so many plants. He says that everything was very arid and full of weeds that are commonly found in the fields in that area.
But with love and dedication he was building his home there, and he was happy to see his purpose of being in a nice place, with large trees that give shade and with many plants and flowers that are to his liking. Seeing the dedication and love with which she did everything, only made her think of all the satisfaction of seeing such a nice place thanks to her perseverance and love for nature. In fact, the reason for moving to the countryside is that he used to live in the city, and he says that he was not happy because he had nowhere to plant and besides that, crime overwhelmed him since he was a victim of it on several occasions. He is already an old man but he proudly showed us his beautiful home.
After lunch I took the time to look around and it is amazing the beauty of the flowers and exotic plants. Each one with a delicate aroma, with striking colors with delicate textures that made the time a moment of total relaxation. Seeing how these beautiful plants develop shows that they enjoy the care and dedication of someone who cares about them. I congratulated the gentleman for such a beautiful garden.
Later I realized that in the area there are peanut, cocoa, cambur, yucca and other crops. I could see how some farmers were harvesting their peanut production and working as a family: parents, siblings and children. After talking with them about good news, they made me think that even in that small detail of harvesting, nature can unite families and enjoy a good time. At the end of the day I commented with a colleague, that I would like to be more often in that kind of environment, I completely forgot about emails and social networks, I forgot that the economy in the country is getting worse and worse, until that day I woke up with general discomfort in the body and I did not remember them at all ... how happy I felt. I spent a day full of peace and tranquility surrounded by nice and loving people of the area and with nature making this occasion something unique.
We decided to go there again in a few days and I already long to be there again. I thank the Creator God for giving us so many beauties in nature, each one different and with a peculiar charm depending on the place where you are. I could also see that there are very few people who are interested in cultivating and maintaining these places, like the man I met and who inspired me. So it made me think that we have to put "hands to work", as we say here, to take care and love those little places that make life more pleasant and happy. Even if it is a little piece of land that we have to grow at home or even plant in pots, we must try to take care of them.

Ayer me tocó hacer visitas amigables a las personas en una comunidad cerca de la ciudad donde vivo. Una familia de conocidos nos ofreció pasar a su casa y almorzar. Cómo tenía tiempo sin ir a esas zonas de campo, me sentí renovada y en paz por la tranquilidad que se respira allí. Sin estrés porque alguien nos vaya hacer daño de ningún tipo, pues en este sitio las personas son cordiales. Con la cámara de mi celular pude capturar unas hermosas flores que estaban en el jardín de la casa. El dueño del jardín, nos contó como encontró ese lugar antes de construir su casa y sembrar tantas plantas. Dice que todo era muy árido y lleno de maleza que comúnmente se encuentra en los campos de esa zona.
Pero con amor y dedicación fue construyendo su hogar allí, y se sintió feliz de ver realizado su propósito de estar en un sitio agradable, con árboles grandes que dan sombra y con muchas plantas y flores que son de su agrado. Al ver la dedicación y amor con que hizo todo, solo logró que pensará en toda la satisfacción de ver un sitio tan agradable gracias a su constancia y amor por la naturaleza. De hecho la razón de mudarse al campo, es que antes vivía en en la ciudad, y dice que no era feliz pues no tenía dónde sembrar y a parte de eso la delincuencia lo abrumaba ya que fue víctima de está en varias ocasiones. El señor ya es un viejito pero nos mostró con orgullo su lindo hogar.
Después de almorzar me animé a ver los alrededores y es asombroso las bellezas de flores que tiene y plantas exóticas. Cada una con un delicado aroma, con colores llamativos con delicadas texturas que me hicieron del rato un momento de relax total. Ver cómo se desarrollan estás plantas tan hermosas, demuestra que disfrutan del cariño y la dedicación de alguien que se preocupa por ellas. Yo felicité al señor por tan lindo jardín.
Después me di cuenta que en la zona hay sembradíos de maní, de cacao, de cambur, yuca y otros. Pude bservar como unos agricultores sacaban su producción de maní y trabajaban en familia: los padres, hermanos y hijos. Después de hablar con ellos de buenas noticias, me hicieron pensar que hasta en ese pequeño detalle de cosechar, la naturaleza puede unir a las familias y disfrutar de un buen rato. Al final de la jornada comenté con una compañera, que me gustaría estar más a menudo en ese tipo de ambiente, me olvidé por completo de los mensajes electrónicos y redes sociales, me olvidé que la economía en el país está cada vez peor, hasta ese día amanecí con malestares generales en el cuerpo y no me acordé de ellos para nada... de lo feliz que me sentía. Pase un día lleno de paz y tranquilidad rodeada de personas agradables y cariñosas de la zona y con la naturaleza haciendo de esta ocasión algo único.
Decidimos ir de nuevo a ese sitio en unos días y ya anhelo estar allá de nuevo. Doy gracias al Creador Dios por regalarnos tantas bellezas en la naturaleza, cada una diferente y con un encanto peculiar dependiendo del sitio donde estés. También pude ver qué ya quedan muy pocas personas que se interesan en cultivar y mantener estos sitios, como el señor que conocí y que me inspiró. Así que me hizo pensar que hay que poner "manos a la obra", cómo decimos aquí, para cuidar y querer esos pequeños sitios que hacen que la vida sea más agradable y feliz. Así sea un pedacito de tierra que tengamos para cultivar en casa o hasta sembrar en macetas, hay que proponerse cuidarlos.
