Eleven people, including the bride's mother, were injured in a clash between the bride and groom at their wedding home in Hatia, Noakhali's Dwip Upazila.
The incident took place on Wednesday night (October 28) at the bride's house near Ahmed Mia Bazar in Ward 8 of the municipality.
The injured are Yasmin Akhter (30), Salma Akhter (28), brother of the groom. Miraj (33), Md. Murad (30), Md. 7 people including 15 rubles. The bride's mother Kulsuma Begum (35) and Anwara Khatun (60) along with 3 others.
The injured have been admitted to the Upazila Health Complex. The injured are all relatives of the bride and groom.
According to the locals, about 4 months ago, Rasheda Begum (19), daughter of Rashed Uddin of Ward 7 of the municipality, along with Md. Kamal Uddin's son of Ward 1 of the municipality. Milon (25) got married in a family way. On Wednesday (October 26), the bridegroom arrives to take the bride to the groom's house, and the meal begins on time.

The clash started at one stage of the fight. Eleven people on both sides, including the bride's mother, were injured in the nearly hour-long clash. The groom's elder brother said. Later some excited people on the bride's side attacked our people. The bride's father Rashed Uddin said, "We are already relatives of each other." We had a lot of women here, they went to take pictures and bumped into women. But I never expected such a big thing to happen with such a small thing.
Didarul Islam Khan, councilor of ward 7 of Hatia municipality, said, "I went to the bride's house after receiving the news of the clash." We have calmed down both the parties and made arrangements to send the injured to the health complex. I will try to solve it socially.
