About six months ago we began building a multi-functional building on our land. We needed a structure to hold the water tank as well as future solar panels. In an effort to stack as many functions as possible we also included a small toolshed at the main level of the water tower and here is the resulting building!
This toolshed was something we worked on during weekends and afternoon sessions. Sometimes we had to wait for materials to arrive, the rain to pass, or simple were working on other aspects of the homestead. Everything takes time and I am glad we put the time, effort, and vision into this project.
If you are curious about the previous video, here is part one of this series where I cover the process of making the main structure of the walls with a technique called quincha as well as recycled bottles.
I have noticed that there is a shortage of informative videos on natural building and even fewer made by women so ... I am here to fill that niche and share the story of our DIY build. Thanks so much for watching!
