African Medicinal Tea
It's my first time in this cooking competition and indeed I haven't seen what everyone has been preparing which sounds medicinal. Preparing medicinal dishes is very much easy and you have countless medicinal dishes out there which are raw and why some are cooked.
When I was still with my parents they have one particular team they always prepare which has become part of me anywhere I go. My dad always prepares it whenever he wants to eat his breakfast and also his lunch. There are countless ways to prepare this kind of thing but the easiest is where is the worst I am going to discuss. When I got married, I started coping with my father's nature of preparing this African tea. It is called African medicinal tea. And I so much cherish it and adore it just because of it's different uses and benefits to the body.
Ingredients needed
lemongrass
Lemongrass is a special ingredient which is used to prepare the African medicinal kind of tea. It will bring out a fine aroma which will make it easy to sip.
Scent leaf:
scent Leaf is another medicinal leaf which houses another great and fine aroma. It has numerous benefits to health. One can chew it or prepare it with lemongrass to make the combination of the tea. When should it cured stomach ache which can come in the form of ulcer. It can also cure fever or typhoid fever.
Lalley leaf:
this is another kind of leaf which can be prepared together with the African medicine tea. It can cure typhoid fever and any kind of fever.
Milk:
milk is just to support the drinking and to make it delicious. After mixing it with milk one can use it to eat some slices of bread. This is why it is advisable to always take it as breakfast or when going to bed.
Half glass of boiled water:
Ensure the water is boiled to it's boiling point. This will bring out the aroma and the liquid present in the leaves.
Process
Slice or great the
Boil some quantity of water.
Pour half glass of water in the glass cup.
Pour the sliced or grated mixture into the hot water.
Then stir and leave for a few minutes to allow proper mixing of the ingredients.
It will change from the normal colourless to coloured liquor.
Pour in your milk into the mixture.
Hmmmm....it's ready to drink.
NOTE Eat the sliced ingredients alongside while sipping the liquid.
