It is unfortunate that I only have a small capacity of fluids that I can load up in-between dialysis days which is why I really could never eat three times per day because if I would eat with that frequency there is no way that I can last until my next dialysis session again.
Right now I only have less capacity in my body literally to store fluids and that is why I am just limiting my food intake to one major meal although I would try to eat two times but usually my supper just consists of toasted bread, small cup of decaffeinated coffee, and a piece of fruit.
I am just eating supper because I wanted to take my calcium supplement with it and it explains the fruit so that my stools won't get hardened and Ii won't get constipated plus I needed extra calories which is why I am forcing myself to eat.
If only I could go for my dialysis more frequently but my hospital is charging extra bill for every visit and that really adds up to my expense. That is why I am a bit infuriated about my hospital being shark because my health insurance already is paying them completely while they over-charge it and still my hospital is still billing us with extra payment.
In my situation right now I am really in need of that frequency in treatments but I could not due to financial constraints. But I am hopeful that soon my government would make my health insurance cover our needs but then again my hospital is just making things hard for us.
There aren't much option for me to go to other dialysis centers as some centers are not equipped or ready to accept patients in my case. Some are over-capacity while others are too far away where I live while one dialysis center that I knew where I went before just closed down because of some reason.
So now I am just stuck with this current center of mine, transferring is really hard now that there is a CoViD pandemic as they require us to get tested before we get accepted. My only hope is that when the new hospital nearer me is done they might offer dialysis which could offer better service in terms of charging less for the patients so that is what I am praying for to come true so that I will not be bound anymore in paying extra ever again.
