Greetings, friends and brethren of the community. If we want to see miracles from God in our lives, plain and simple, it requires trusting that God will give us what we ask for. The disposition of the heart must be above the doubt of any thought. We cannot forget that God's words and promises are always in Amen. The Gospel of Luke tells us of an amazing teaching of the Lord in which He performed a glorious miracle in the eyes of the apostle Peter, who trusted in the words of Jesus, when the Lord said to him: "Put out into the deep, and let down your nets for a catch. 5 And Simon answered and said unto him, Master, we have toiled all night, and have caught nothing: but at thy word I will let down the net. 6 And when they had done so, they enclosed a great multitude of fishes, and their net was breaking".
All this is interesting, for Peter had spent all night fishing and the result was useless, yet he believed Jesus' words and a miraculous catch resulted.
2 And he saw two boats standing by the shore of the lake; and the fishermen, having got out of them, were washing their nets. 3 And he entered into one of those boats, which belonged to Simon, and begged him to draw it a little from the land; and he sat down and taught the multitude out of the boat. 4 And when he had made an end of speaking, he said unto Simon, Put out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. 5 And Simon answered and said unto him, Master, we toiled all night, and caught nothing: but at thy word I will let down the net. 6 And when they had done so, they enclosed a great multitude of fish, and their net was breaking. 7 Then they beckoned to their companions who were in the other boat, that they should come and help them; and they came and filled both the boats, so that they sank. 8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord. 9 For because of the fish which they had caught, fear had seized him, and all who were with him, 10 and James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. But Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not: henceforth thou shalt be catching men. 11 And when they had brought their boats to land, they left everything, and followed him. "Luke 5: 1-11"

When we believe God and his word, an important miracle is sure to come. It is not a matter of letting ourselves be dragged by adverse or negative circumstances, but of trusting and believing that what the Lord commands in his word will be fulfilled. Peter did not allow himself to be dragged by the deserted situation of that night without fishing, nor did he care about the cold or the lost time, but he saw the opportunity to trust in what Jesus was telling him to achieve a catch that not only allowed him to fill his boat, but also the boat of another companion who was nearby with him. We need to swim deep in our faith in order to get what we need from God. We must always put the word of the Lord first and then push ourselves with our faith and actions until we get our miracle.

It is impressive, the great quantity of fish that Peter and his companion were able to catch just by believing the word that Jesus commanded him. The nets were breaking because of the enormous quantity of fish. If we want to see God's glory overflowing in our lives, it is important to activate our faith and break with all those thoughts of doubt. If Peter had let himself be carried away by his tiredness and the negativity of not having caught fish the night before, surely his faith would have been dulled and he would not have seen the great miracle that Jesus did, ordering him to go into the deepest part of the sea. Obeying God is indispensable to be a witness of great miracles. Your faith will increase to the extent that you can activate your trust in God. Action is the companion of faith and the enemy of doubt. Your miracle can happen today, just believe and activate the word of God in your life. Don't forget that faith comes by hearing the word of God.
