I’m here again after my last post on natural remedy for keeping your sugar level in check
Today’s post will be about natural medicines which are made from roots, leaves and other natural ingredients to cure different illness, such as malaria, typhoid, fever, body pain, sexual transmitted diseases. In general They are called AGBO ( herbal concoction).
There are different types of AGBO:
Agboijede for typhoid fever.
Agbo Jedi Jedi or dysentery,
Agbo Atosi for sexual transmitted diseases,
Agbo Ara Riro for body aches
Agbo Iba for malaria.
I am familiar with AGBO IBA which is used to treat malaria, and that is where I’m going to be concentrating today.
AGBO IBA is commonly used at home for treating of malaria by mostly native Yoruba’s, and it is loved by other tribes in Nigeria, because it is very affordable and has no side effects.
My mum makes it for me and my siblings whenever we are down with malaria, it is very bitter considering the ingredients used in making it. I am not a drug person and I don’t like anything that is bitter but my younger once’s likes it because they prefer it to taking drugs.
How AGBO Iba is made, is not a difficult process, all you will need are:
Dongoyaro (Neem leaves)
Lime
Lipton
STEPS TO PREPARE AGBO IBA
Wash the Neem leaves.
Get the quantity of the limes you need, wash them and cut each into two parts
Put the number of Lipton bag you want to use which is depending on the quantity of AGBO IBA you want to make.
Then put all three of the ingredients inside your cooking pot or kettle, and add a good amount of water which will cover the ingredients then allow it to boil for about 15 minutes.
You can drink from the concoction 100-200ml 3times daily.
Most people seems to love this method of treating malaria because they know it’s a natural remedy, it’s easily affordable and they don’t have to fear for fake and expiration and also no side effect.
My mum uses it because most times it works faster than taking drugs.

Mind you all the ingredients for the preparation of different types of AGBO are sold in the market which are not difficult to get or expensive.
