The economy is difficult, and I wouldn't know about other people since I do not live with them, but, I do know that these days, I cook more. And the reason is that it's more economical to cook than to eat out.
You might argue that the quality of food you get for eating out might be better but it depends on a lot of factors. You can only get that quality of food you're imagining if you visit a high-standard restaurant and fast food. And you have to be ready to pay a huge sum for it. But the good thing is it will be worth your money.
If you can't afford such places, then, cooking at home beats everything else. The food you prepare at home might not be up to the standard you wish and it could be because the funds you have is small. But it's still better than squandering it on fast foods.
The funniest thing is that if you calculate the amount used to buy food in fast foods or restaurants, it would be an amount that you can prepare a good recipe for yourself at home. But you'll be eating it away within a few minutes and risk going hungry the next day.
I could go deeper but I don't want to repeat or more like recycle the same post. My thoughts about preparing meals at home haven't changed. Thus, for this dreemport-ecotrain collaboration challenge, I'll link this blog post to the old one.
You can follow through with the link and read through. Happy weekend to you.
