What does life present when actions that are supposed to be taken are ignored?
Looking closely at people who fail to take immediate action concerning issues that need to be attended to I discovered the challenge faced is far more terrible than the one that would have been faced if immediate action was taken e.g.
Imagine someone who fails to take action concerning a sick person?
Yes of course we know the immediate action to be taken is to take the person to the nearest hospital. But when such action is ignored you know of course what is likely to happen to the sick person.
Irreversible consequences will occur.
But then come to think of it people don't just want to take action unless they are been constrained by things white beyond their control.
This is the part where the question for the week comes in, it says what are those things that are beyond one control that can cause one not to take action even when they know the consequences of that act.
What stops taking action?
It all depends on the kind of action to be taken. Things that can stop taking action depends on whether the person is capable or the person just wants to ignore that particular issue.
Now coming back to the first example of a sick person who could not be taken to hospital.
There are reasons why this action could not be taken.
Financial constraints could be the reason why those actions could not be taken.
I have come across some illnesses which require international medical care. Someone who barely eats 3 square meals will not even think of doing that, so it could be one of the reasons that can stop that action that is supposed to be taken.
Still looking at the same case I have seen people who barely eat still take their loved ones to a hospital abroad for medical treatment. How do they do that since they don't have money to handle that case? Simply, they took another action that was of help to them and that is the action of calling to people's attention for help and that action helped them to tackle the situation at hand.
Now using these two examples I sat I went over and over the question asking myself what could be the reason why people do not take action.
I concluded that what stops people from taking action is the level of their thought. The heart and mind to go with it is the main problem behind not taking action.
Mindset is what makes the action and the same mindset is what stops people from taking the same action.
If you have a positive mindset you will not mind the case on the ground but tackle the issue the way it presents itself.
So if you find yourself not taking action, check the level of your mindset and reshuffle then you will see that those things that are stopping you from taking action don't matter.
Thanks for passing by.
