Everything we receive in our life comes from God, even the faith by which we believe that God forgives us and saves us is a divine gift that flows from his love.
Ephesians 2: 9 "not by works so that no one can boast."
We are saved by the grace of God not by our works. We must fully understand that whatever we can do is in response to God's gifts of salvation, eternal life, and the Holy Spirit.
They should never be used to earn, deserve, or pay for salvation.
God has a purpose in everything, it is that we give him glory and exalt his name.
God saved us so that we could serve as an example to others, of how his love and mercy work in and through a human life.
Salvation is not just so that the person when he dies goes to heaven. Eternal life is part of God's forgiveness but it is not the only reason for our salvation.
God saved us so that each of us would reflect his nature; so that we could be his people on this earth, doing the kinds of works that Jesus himself would do. He wants to manifest his character through our personalities and abilities.
All of our Christian experience must be lived by faith in God's provision, from beginning to end, we are justified, sanctified and glorified by his grace which we cling to by trusting God and obeying it.
We must die by the law and in this way live for God by the same law.
As we die for this world and its desires, a new man with spiritual needs arises in us who no longer seeks his satisfaction but rather to glorify our Lord Jesus Christ.
Man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ. Salvation is achieved only by faith in his great sacrifice when Jesus died on Calvary.
