I have studied civil engineering and am working as a civil engineer. Although I have been involved in the work for a few years, in these few days I have built some great structures. While working here, I saw how to destroy nature and build big structures. In fact, whatever we create separates us from nature. And there is no other way but to do it. Where will we build these houses? To make these we have to cut down trees or fill ponds. But it is not too late for our nature to be destroyed at the rate at which we cut down trees. Because of this the amount of oxygen in the air is decreasing day by day, the temperature is increasing day by day.
Now architects have to plan big houses in a very small space. There is no place to plant a tree. But now the amount of roof gardens in our country has increased a lot. It was before. But now it is being done more and more for another reason. That is hotter. Now it is summer in our country. And every year the temperature of this heat is increasing day by day. As a result, people in urban areas are more inclined to buy air conditioning. And those who can't afford it are getting restless in the heat. And this temperature seems to be higher for those who live under the roof. This means if a house has 3 floors. Then those who live on the third floor feeling the hottest. The main reason is that the roof gets hotter due to higher temperatures. And to reduce it, many people are using various chemicals, some are watering the roof but it does not last long. Again, many accidents are happening due to air condition bust. And for this, people are moving more towards roof gardens. The roof of the house is very cold.
The picture above is of a factory in our country. This is a beautiful installation of green building / eco-building. I think if we can make this in all the factories in the world then our environmental pollution can be reduced a lot.
At present this roof garden is going to be noticed in many big projects in our country. Moreover, many large factories are now using natural energy to keep cool. Such as:- Plants are being planted at a higher rate around the structure.
- Arrangements are being made to allow more air to enter the house.
- Arrangements are being made to plant trees on the roof, verandah, and even windows.
- Gardening is being done in front of the house.
- Small or big water bodies are being kept next to the house or the structure. Again in many places small water houses or tanks are being built.
- Furniture is being used using natural materials.
