The competition this week is a perfect time for me. It coincides with the situation of the youngest daughter of my boss. Last week, she got sicked and we were surprised why it happened? We were very cautious because she had been in school 3 times a week. Though we were fully vaccinated, we are still worried about covid19. My boss brought her to the hospital and had a laboratory test. She was a healthy girl but I was shocked when they told me that she has an iron deficiency and anemia. I loved this girl like my daughter. I was the one who took good care of her since day 1 of her life and now she is 15 years old.
When I learned the findings of the doctor, I am now giving her beneficial foods for her to eat and I am going to share them with you.

The Fruits
My boss is always buying fruits and vegetables even before when their children were still young. The big problem was they didn't like eating fruits. Most of the time, I threw it in the garbage when got rotten.
I could not eat it all. Until I realized making juice.
Different kinds of fruits are always on the table.
How to make fresh fruit salad?
- I prefer making good enough for a day or two days.
- Wash first the fruits with clean water with a little pinch of salt mix in tehe basin with water.
- We can also use baking soda, soak the fruits in the tap water for a while to wash away some chemical or pesticides that being used by the grower of the fruits.
- It is just by simply cutting all the desired fruits into cubes.
- Mix all the fruits without sugar.
- Orange juice must be added to the mix fruit salad in a bowl to avoid changes of the colors. The orange juice preserves to retain the freshness and original color of the fruits.
- I also used mango juice to add satisfying taste.
This is the simple way of having mu fruit salad to my baby love and the mother of the baby, my lady boss. She is a breast cancer survivor for 13 years now. I maintain everything for her balanced diet. Fruit helps a lot as a source of some vitamin deficiencies. They were not fruit lover but they listen to whst the doctor said.
The younger daughter now is gaining more iron and increase blood count after doing a good system in eating and diet.
