QUESTION OF THE WEEK 9.5: "DO YOU BELIEVE IN DESTINY OR KARMA? CAN BOTH BE TRUE? I Say, Yes You Need Both Of Them
Karma or fate? I thought a lot when I saw this question. In fact, it is not easy to answer this question as I do not see any success without hard work or no success even when I work harder than my best efforts and abilities. Here comes the question, "Do I believe in fate or karma?" It always makes me think whether I should say yes to karma or go in favor of fate.
I always thought that it is true that luck is the fruit of karma. Everything we do gets its fruit, and that fruit is luck. Or, if it is not predetermined by fate, how will the creature behave and do? It is said that not even a leaf moves without the will of God. So how can there be happiness or unhappiness without the permission of God? And if suffering or happiness is all dependent on the will of God, then what is his role once he has written down his destiny?

Happiness is written in your destiny, and if God doesn't want it, happiness is not yours, even if it is written in your destiny and entrusted to you.
For example, when a customer goes to a shop to buy goods, he asks for the price of the goods. And that customer buys the goods, not the shopkeeper. But still the goods have to be given to the shopkeeper. And the money goes to the shopkeeper, not the item.
We ask that shopkeeper the price of that article. The shopkeeper decides the weight and quality of the goods according to the rate. Our money determines its quality. Then the shopkeeper delivers the goods. In the same way, God tests the quantity and quality of our actions. Then he gives us fruits according to our qualities and deeds.
Even if we put in thousands of hours of hard work, we will only get the benefit of our actions. Here you may ask, "When everything is written in our destiny, why should we work so hard?" If everything is to be according to what is already written in our destiny, then why should we put our extra efforts?
I think that whatever is written in fate, or what the author has written, will remain the same even after doing anything to change it. Then a natural question arises, "Why?" So why should one work so hard? It is better to sit and wait for the result. why try? Why take any action if the outcome is predetermined? I am very confused. If what is written in our destiny remains unchanged, then why do people believe in karma?
The fruits of good deeds are always good. But sometimes even after doing good deeds, due to the troubles that come, we feel that even after doing good deeds, the problems are not decreasing. But do you know that because of our good deeds we are being saved from the greatest of difficulties? The fruit of action is such a crop that only the sower will reap.
So do good deeds and you can definitely change your destiny.
Luck or misfortune takes its full effect at the right time. But we can save ourselves from that fate or misfortune. Like at two o'clock the sun spreads scorching heat with its harsh rays. People will either go under the shade of a tree or take shelter in an air-conditioned house according to their capacity to escape that heat. So it is your own decision as to how you want to get rid of that heat. Your good or bad luck will do nothing in this.
With our efforts, we get relief from that heat by going in the shade or in the air conditioner. Similarly, luck or misfortune has its effect at the right time. But we protect ourselves from it in the shadow of the air condition of worship, prayer and other rituals. And one who does not go into the shadows gets the effect of heat, even if they are blessed with the best of luck.
I do not wish to reveal the name. The man holds a special reputation in my country and comes from an educated, aristocratic family. But by the grace of God, the gentleman was very pleased. The reason was that one of his relatives had gone to show his horoscope. Someone told him that his horoscope was impure. So he said that it means that by making a second horoscope, the faults of his karma will be erased.
You can change your horoscope, but you cannot change your destiny unless you change your karma, probably because of your social status and ability to earn money. Even if you are a millionaire, you cannot change your fortune. Accept that what is written in your destiny cannot be avoided but can be changed to some extent. Unfortunately, it is inevitable. That's why I want to say here that man should first know his suffering. What are his karma etc., and how can he change them to influence his destiny?
In the mythological book Gita, Lord Krishna told Arjuna, "It is a man's actions that determine his fate. Man's thoughts determine his deeds, and his actions determine his destiny."
Lord Krishna further says in the Gita, "If you have done your work properly, you will definitely get the result, but I will decide when you will get it." Your result depends only on your actions, so focus on your work and leave the rest to me. ,
Most people keep relying on luck, in the hope that someday their luck will bring them luck. He was so dependent on his luck that he would go to the temple every day and say, "Oh my God, when will the door of my destiny open, or when will I win the lottery?"
First you should know your karma and then take measures to get rid of it. Luck or bad luck cannot be changed, but we can avoid its effects, good or bad. That's why it is said that "God has written your destiny on your forehead on the sixth day of your birth, and the letters written by the author will always be on your forehead, but you can change it by your actions."
Friends, most of us keep hearing people's debates about karma and destiny. Everyone has their own reasoning. Some say that karma is big, some say that luck is big. Well, both sides feel that they are right and probably, they are both right in their own way.
So let us now discuss today's topic and try to understand what is more important, "Karma or Bhagya?"
You must have seen many such people who get all the pleasures of life without doing anything and there are some people who live a deprived or poor life even after working hard all their life.
If someone gets more success in life first then someone has to wait a long time. Success comes after a lot of struggle. Luck determines the condition and direction of life. At the same time it is also true that the fruit of action depends on luck. The role of luck is very important in the fruit of action.

This does not mean that you should rely only on luck. It is said that the path of luck opens only by doing karma. You only have the right to do your work and not enjoy the fruits of your labor. Therefore do not act with the view of fruit, nor do you consider it necessary to act with the expectation of fruit? This principle is more appropriate today than in the historical period when we did not expect immediate results.
Those who focus their attention on the fruits of karma remain under stress. Those who keep working, they consider their work as their duty, and they remain stress free. Therefore, one should act keeping in mind the two sides of the same coin, Karma and Destiny.
