Many of us really want to thrive in the business world, we want to make our trademark known, we want to make our products outstanding and worth coming back for but do we really get to look at the main focus, Customer feedback??? 🤔
After the sales of your good do you really try to get the feedback from your customers?
There is no complete chain of successful sales of products and services without the satisfaction of your customers.
Many at times companies and vendors tend to offer services and do not even try to get back to the customers to know if they were actually satisfied with the service rendered to them.
Lets take a look at a branch of this customer which is very important for running of business.
Customer Service
Customer service is known as the total experience a customer gets from the moment he steps in for your product till the service has been totally provided.
Many companies lack good customer service quality.
You get to see that whenever you walk into a company or even call their customer service hotline you get to see they first take time to attend to you, then they still do not even have enough knowledge about the product or service they are providing.
There will always be a tiny failure in service rendering as we humans are not 100% efficient and even machines still malfunction but in case of these scenarios there should be adequate passing of information to customers.
I will use an example of a bank's culture in Nigeria i.e Ecobank Nigeria Plc where they tend to follow these steps in production of services so as to get a positive feedback.
The acronym is RACE IT
R... for Respect in which the customer's rights are respected and services provide are done in such a way to avoid passive insults to the customer.
A... for Accountability whereby every staff is accountable for each action taken while and after services are provided.
C... for Customer Centricity is for the fact that every customer's need concerning products and services are met to the fullest.
E... for Excellence which is an outstanding providing of services with a touch of top notched quality in rendering of the services.
I... for Integrity which the company is liable for every information passed down to the customer so the company must ensure that they provide accurate information and they are plainly open to their customers not hiding any necessary information.
T... for Teamwork in which no man is an island of himself. All hands are needed on deck to sevre the customers to their satisfaction.
Surveys can be periodically carried out whereby customers are asked to give an input in terms of ideas in which they think they can be served better.
No matter how little your business is always try to get feedback from your customers as they are the reason your business still stay alive.
Customers are the basis at which we stay in business.
