Hello friends I am glad to be participating in this Contest... This is a lovely Question and I will be glad writing the little I can about it.
Well permit me to say Ignorance has taken over the minds of so many people.
I will be using myself as an example to write about this topic.
I could remember back then in secondary school I started having this issues of seeing clearly from the board, I had to go and sit closer to the board before I could write what was on the board. I was so ignorant of what I was experiencing, at some point I could barely see, due to that reason I started missing classes because I thought what was the essence of staying in class when I could just get notes from my friends to copy. That affected my academic performance.
I got to higher insitution where I was supposed to study accounting, as we all know accounting is based in calculations and with the condition of my sight I became reluctant to focus because everything that was illustrated on the board was blur to me. First Semester Results Came Out And I Had Bad Grades That Was When I Told My Dad About My Health Issues, He Took Me To An Optician Who Said If I Had Come a bit earlier the problem would have been corrected with just Yeast(drugs) and at that stage I had two options either to go for a surgery or I get a very heavy and medicated lenses which I will be using to correct my sight.
CONCLUSION
What am I trying to say, if I had taken action when I noticed the problems I guess the issue wouldn't have been complicated.
Let's not wait for someone before we do anything, there's no particular time to do anything other than now. So I urge all of us having any health issues not to be ignorant of it, delay is dangerous remember that .
