Judgement, according to me is an emotion; it's an inner feeling we have for the other person that we sometimes end up showing and talking aloud. Judgements are all around in some form or the other. There's no one I believe I know who doesn't judge. So no one can vouch for not being judgemental.
WHY D0 WE JUDGE?
Judgements arise because we all have our brains to think. A brainless person (so to say) would not judge because he/she is not equipped to do so. So judgements are natural. But by this, I really don't one judgement are good.
Our judgements are completely biased by our opinions towards the person; what we perceive of them or how good a relationship we have with them.
Giving an example, for the same scenario I might think of my best friend as going correct because she's my best friend and I can't think wrong of her. But if the same thing happens to my next-door neighbour who is an acquaintance to me, I might think wrong of that person. This is again a very natural human feeling.
What I personally feel is that having judgements is not a problem but having false and biased judgements surely is. So while judging someone, we should try to keep our personal relationships and matters away and think as rational person. In those ways, we will be able to give a better judgement.
SUBJECTIVE NATURE OF JUDGEMENTS
Another important thing about judgements is that they are subjective (obviously, given these are not fair). So we can't expect all of us to judge the same situation in a similar fashion because everyone's brain runs in different directions and we all think according to our mindset and governing external factors.
So to conclude:
1. Judgements are never fair.
2. Judgements are subjective.
3. And most importantly, judgements are not supposed to happen.
But given the human tendency, it very difficult to understand these points and abide by them. So all we can try is not to form opinions on others judgements and try to be as fair as possible.
IGNORE JUDGEMENTS
The best way to fight judgements is - don't give a damn! Why do we really care who judges us how? As long as we know we are right, let's just avoid and ignore all those people who judge us and just keep up with pour good deeds.
