I have been keeping up with weights and yoga over lockdown, but forgot how important it is to get outside and run, connect to nature. Yesterday I visited a friend and I ended up in the car for so long I just needed to get some fresh air, she lives near a park so I pulled on my running shoes and went for a jog. I ran for about 15 minutes before I almost died and had to sit down, only to find I was right by a huge group of deer. A couple of them were friendly enough to come up and be stroked. Sometimes that little connection with nature and animals can really so vital to stay on track with ourselves and our connection to ourselves and our natural world around us.
