Introducing Sheriff Fat Man! No actually the Vibeof100monkeys Sunday Rambles...
β
Well, it's Sunday here in England folks! I thought it a good opportunity to release some of my verbal diarrhoea onto the blockchain; that I have been saving up over the week. I am going to endeavour to post a least once a week in my Sunday Rambles, give or take the odd one. A warning it will be uncensored and times probably bordering one the rambles of a mad man but in years to come, someone might look at it and see the logic in there! Bonus points for those who get the title reference π€‘.

The past week in a nutshell
To be fair it's been a rather good week in fact I'd say great. The main contributing factor to this is we bought tickets to visit Mexico ππ½ and we can travel there without the snake bite. My partner is going for five weeks and me two due to work. I wish it was longer but keeping in mind the fact I have not ventured off this Island in about seven years I can't wait !!! Getting away will be so therapeutic with all the currently societal stressors a change of environment and some good ole vitamin D will be fricking amazing. Currently, it's planning time and booking, not too much planning though as we want to keep the element of spontaneity alive. But folks more to come on that one close to the time π²π½.

In other news, we had a cracking walk along a stunning beach near my partners home. Living in a central position in England I don't get to the sea on a regular basis; this I miss considerably. The sea is such a tranquil place to be it gives me a sense of reality. When you look out onto the horizon you know there is so much out there the unknown and the unexplored, it puts into perspective the validities of where we live and the fact we have options we just need to ride the waves to get there. In addition to this, there is a natural beauty to the beach the simple yet ever-changing views. The raw unforgiving power of the wind and wave; it's simply beautiful. As you can tell I am missing the sea having lived there for nine years way back yonder. Plans are afoot to move back to a coastal town dreckly.

My new job is going well and I actually have the freedom to work my trade! The Barefoot OT is coming together ( on the dreaded Instagram, only for business purposes) and I am manifesting my land and then the ideas will come into reality fast than Blithering Borris accepts the bribes. It's looking up guys. and so too in the world! There is a lot of talk in the media about the BS we are being fed and I feel we are brewing for the 'apocalypse' and I can't wait. See the 'apocalypse' actually means the coming of the great truth; now that's a good thing in my eyes. There may be a bit of fallout around it coming out but it's about bloody time don't you think?

The Ramble Alert π¨
β
Right right, that's enough about me, getting personal there reign it in; sorry haha. I do feel a more positive vibe since the day we call the new year; after all, it's more a cycle of the sun in which we use the concept of time to express. I often think about time, what it is and how ancients marked it? We are very constrained by time in modern society. But time is a relatively modern concept! Now I don't know when the first moment in which the natural cycle was marked by a number? A quick search on the internet tells me it was the 14th century! Now that's not very long ago if you think about it; but how do you measure it without using time? I just find it so odd that we are so controlled by this concept but for centuries it wasn't even a thing.
β
I guess people would have used the sun as an alternative (surely time is the alternative to the sun?), meeting say when the sun is at its highest point. This would be midday I assume! My aim is to become less controlled by time (see it was going somewhere this ramble). Not a New Year Resolution; as this too is a concept that's is just commercialised. Of course, I work and in this modern world, most people run off time. When out of work, however, I want to attempt to achieve less reliance on this concept of time. This comes in the form of; and here comes the inner OT with the breaking down the task and setting SMART goals π₯ .
β
And breath...
First I am going to not set alarms at the weekend and start the morning waking using the natural light. More difficult during the winter granted, but the lighter days are coming back; in my area, this is about 8:20 am! Ahhh using time again shitter! But this is the thing people understand time so it's hard to communicate without using it. However, I will wake naturally on the days (time concept again see) when not working. Then start with a brew or coffee and a read; on a side note, I am reading about Tesla (the inventor not the car). He's always been an icon of mine but dam what a man a fricking genius; look into him, folks! He is responsible for so much we have now and will have in the future. Back to it Vibe... so live more by my gut feeling and its instinct. Sleeping and waking where possible and being less reliant on clocks and doing things under their jurisdiction. So "this month I will mostly be looking at bedtime and getting up" (if that reads as rude that is a reflection on you, not me)!
β
Second, on the list is use alarms for things like leaving to work. This will allow me to work on getting a routine down, allowing me to be at work when I am needed. Setting an alarm for when I need to leave my house means I don't have to look at a clock to ascertain this just know when the song plays I need to leave; a bit like teaching a dog tricks that π€£. Lastly for this month (SMART goals see the OT in me strikes againππ½) is trying to use less language that puts a constraint on the passing of the suns light.
β
Anyways I feel this will release me from some of the restrictions of the modern world. Let's face it we need to stop and think about where we are going. If we continue along his trajectory we will end up like beach whales on motorised chairs; where we don't have to use our legs. Be reliant on automated systems and robots down on earth cleaning rubbish and looking for evidence that plant life is growing again. There it is today's third reference! (did you get them all?) A sign I should wrap things up then.
β
Going away from today then:
Less reliance on looking at clocks and numbers to determine what I/we; join in this experiment, go on go on go on (ooh there's a fourth reference π³)! Yes, not using numbers to determine what we're doing!
Using alarms to remind us to leave for a meeting or duty. Reducing looking at the numbers again!
Changing our language so we gradually start to reduce the reliance don't the concept of time (had to be mentioned there)!
β
So that's a wrap for today!
