Very good day! Hive or Steemit reader!
On this occasion, you will have the pleasure of reading my review of the cult anime called Haibane Renmei. This blog is a translation of the Mexican-immigrant into English xD:

Well... Haibane Renmei is an anime of the slice of life genre developed in a kind of fantasy world filled with a lot of mysteries.
In this world there are creatures called 'Haibane', which are the same as humans in essence, only with small wings and a halo on their head, similar to how the famous illustrations of angels would be.
It stars 'Rakka', a newborn Haibane who arrives in the world of the Haibane, and from the beginning we can see how Rakka works in her community.
I do not know if it develops in heaven or not because ... really the vast majority of things in this world are left to free interpretation, because in most cases it does not go too deep into things that are not going to be relevant For the plot. What are the Haibane ?, Why do they exist ?, Because it takes place in a town around a wall and nobody can get out of there ?, among other questions. Don't expect answers about most things as they are left as mysteries. This kind of thing is preferable to the imagination to be explained terribly, so I'm not going to say that the series makes a mistake in doing this.
For the whole thing with angels, you may wonder if it is an anime that has religious issues involved, to which I reply that it is not at all.
The story focuses on Rekki, as he had said before, and a group of Haibane women in their day to day. It will focus on showing you the development and interaction between all the characters.
Moments that focus more than anything on everyday life and on the simple but beautiful life that Haibane girls have in that small town. Things like Rakka going to accompany one of her classmates to buy some food, or see how a character will take care of the smallest Haibane. All this transmits a feeling of warmth and tranquility in a very effective way.
And on the other hand we have the most dramatic moments, in which the characters will have their shocks, or shocking things will happen to them that will affect what will happen in the rest of the story at that time. Or the background of certain characters will also be revealed to us ...
Yup, I know that it may seem at first glance as something very light, but the truth is that in this 'paradise' in which it takes place, the characters despite everything have their conflicts. External and internal. The characters get along well with some, and badly with others. This in some cases of course. Besides that they have their lawsuits.
But, despite that, if I can understand that this is not for everyone because of the pace of this series. Let me explain: it is an anime that progresses very, very calmly in the plot (which may not seem like it but it is linear), and it is not something that is necessarily impacting you in each chapter as I said. Everything is relatively calm. This is why you may get bored if you do not like this type of thing.
It is in this section of the anime that certain messages about forgiveness and maturation are put. Which makes it more than a simple and generic slice of life. A slice of life that has very human characters. Also the plot will throw something in what would come being the search for a purpose and identity in society.
The world in which Haibane Renmei is developed is very similar to what a fairy tale would be with all that paraphernalia of Village or Town. The surroundings of the home-home where the characters live are simply very beautiful and detailed settings. Although it is not known in what period it is developed, the architecture looks very old but there is relatively modern technology. One of those mysteries that will not be solved throughout the series.
The way in which the characters are animated and gives life, although it may be too simple for the criteria of many, for me it is the most adequate and simple way of doing it in the vast majority of cases, it is very well done for those who This type of technique is applied to them because, simple characters and extraordinary '' little '' (quotation marks) situations do not require too much movement or detail.
From start to finish, Haibane Renmei is a very shocking drama. A very tender and touching story with a very 'angelic' aesthetic.
It is highly recommended for teens for all the messages it has. Search for purpose, identity and forgiveness. And if you are already in your maturity, well, it is a very beautiful story.
