Hello My Fellow hivians, hope we are all doing good.
I may not have been to Korea but I love their way of life, how they live, how they love each other, how they form relationship and do things, that has really caught my attention about Korea. With this I have been able to learn some interesting things about how they live and what matters most to them through reading of books and watching of Korean movies.
I have learnt that Koreans are very hardworking people. Mostly are involved in occupations such as farming, fishing, and especially small family businesses within the towns and cities both the old and the young. In the cities, you will also see a strong focus on education, technology, and entrepreneurship. It looks like their society really values discipline and success, and this is one reason why Korea has developed so quickly over the years.
The very important thing about them is that they raise their children with value of Korean culture starting from greetings, respect for each other and obedience to the elderly people. They also value education because their parents invest so much in education so that their children can have a brighter and best educational qualities, I often see in their dramas, what the pressure children do face to perform well in school, but it also shows how much parents care about and won't giving up then try more opportunities in life.
Also, when we go into their marriage style, Korean weddings are very colorful and making sense. I’ve read that they usually have two sections in their wedding program the modern ceremony, where the bride and groom dress in suits and white gowns, and the traditional ceremony which they called Paebaek, where they wear their cultural dress known as hanbok. This wedding is intimate and focused on the families, with rituals that symbolize respect, blessings, and hopes for a fruitful and successful marriage.
Another thing I discovered is that they gathered to eat together, the love and the bonding of eating together is an original sign of love, From their barbecue style meals to sharing dishes at the table, eating is very fascinating.
I have learnt many things about Korea culture and it has really help me too, appreciating life itself, the beautiful love they share has help to have more love for my family and friends. Their society value hardwork tradition and their community which should be the core value of every community.
